Looks like the butt hurt is strong with Kira & Jaxon's Dad. Don't be too despondent about being replaced as the premier D3 football program in the nation. You had a great 20+ year run, and all good things must come to an end.

Living in the area, I saw nothing touting the game. The marketing plan was that there seemed to be none.  IMO the game needs to go back to Salem, where it seemed appreciated and decently supported.
I may be old fashioned, however, throwing to the end zone with under two minutes and leading by four TD's was the worst sportsmanship imaginable.  The MHB head coach has always appeared, to me,  a classless dolt, and tonight he proved it to many.  No respect for a leader of this nature.
That being said, MHB was superior on the field. Speed and talent overflowing.

Then you don't really know him. Redding is a career backup who has served his time infinitely. To give a kid, not on scholarship, the chance to score on the national stage, is what it's all about. NCC was good enough to try and stop him.

you dont need to throw into the endzone to honor the kid's dedication to the program.  Just let him drive the Subaru for another semester

we could go back further, but it won't really help your argument.  Congrats on the title, loved watching the Cru absolutely embarrass the one hit wonders from Chicago.  Mount Union is still the premier program, but UMHB are the current kings of D3.  Here's to meeting in the Stagg Bowl for the next 10 years or so

Historically, yes, Mount Union is the standard. I'm talking about the present. We're witnessing a changing of the guard and some (not all) MU fans are just bitter that they're not the automatic Stagg Bowl winner, or even participant, that they think they're entitled to be.

Enjoy your past glory. I'll enjoy the present and future.

It counts in minds of MHB fans...and no where else. Most importantly the history books and NCAA record won't count it. They Only have their coach to blame for that.

It counts the only place that matters- where it was won- on the field. The National Title wasn't awarded as a gift, it was earned on the field by the team, so what the hypocrites at the NCAA want to pretend is irrelevant.

3 of the last 5 national titles, and men among boys in 2021. There's a new sheriff in town. Deal with it.

I wouldn't count the NCAA history books since their own website still list UMHB as the 2016 champions, the Stagg Bowl game program did too and there was NCAA graphics on the video board in Canton that listed UMHB as 2016 champions.

Well, there's video proof that it happened, so the the NCAA and all the jealous runners-up can gaslight and pretend it didn't happen all they want, but facts are facts. 2016, 2018, and 2021 National Champs on the field. The proof:

I get defending your team and being proud. But arguing about National Titles against Mount and UWW fans is short sighted at best.

Go test drive an Outback and rethink your strategy.
