great to see Ed Reed back for the Raiders, he was a dawg before the injury

If he's 100% the combo of Ruby, Manley and Reed is going to be a big problem for defenses.

I felt like he was the most talented WR his sophomore year. Great to see him back, hopefully healthy as well. My biggest concern is Oline and Dline. The OL looks like they've got lots of returning guys and the whole DL is back. Want expecting Eli Beers and Nick Brown who I thought came along as the season went. Add them to Duke, Lukowski, Scott and some talented underclassmen that should help. They need to show depth at DL to make it healthy through a full season.

I can't speak to the health and recovery of Reed, but he and Ruby have Hill-Ruth type of feel.  But let's just hope that Edwin is 100%.  The lines are always the most important, it seems like everyone and their older brother is back on both lines, so lets hope for health up front this year.  Some of the freshman DL look like they are about 27 and the OL class looks to have some....dawgs

Hi Gang -- Sorry for being a bit slow to get back into the swing of things, but the spreads for Week #1 of the 2022 OAC Pickem [and the non-spreads of the 2022 WIAC Pickem] have been posted.  It is a short week because of Thursday games, thus the extra heads up.

Good luck!

Defiance has almost no kids from OH on their 2 deep.  I was shocked by that.

I was glad to see Beaudrie at QB2.  He's an exciting player and we're going to get to see a lot of him this week I'm guessing.

Wilmington's unis look sharp.  And so far holding their own.

Agreed.  I like them. I don't know who Southern Virginia is but if the Quakers hang 52 on you that can't be a good sign for your season.

WWWWWWILMINGTON! Holy cow, I never thought I'd see them score this many points in a game. Congrats on the win!

Looks like Wilmington's 25 year plan to take over the OAC is a couple years ahead of schedule!

Congrats indeed.  A quick review of their season-by-season results looks like they last put up a 50 burger on someone in their final year of HCAC play in 1999.  They beat Franklin 55-6.  They did score 49 on Earlham in back to back openers in 2017-2018.

Wow - a real world example of an anomaly. Either that or they must have been hitting from the 3pt line all night long.
