Raider 68

It would be nice to see the Quakers have a break-out season! :)

13 time Division III National Champions

On paper, the Knights had a better defense but Wilmington's defense played better on the important points.  Also, SoVa's kicking game was abysmal giving the Quakers shorter fields most of the night.  They took advantage of it with an excellent passing game and complementary running game.  They represented the OAC well!   :D
Never underestimate the stimulation of eccentricity.

We will take any and every OOC win!

Reminder for Mount fans not physically going to the game that JCU @ W&J starts at 1:00 so you can catch some of that prior to Mount.  Witt @ Cortland also starts at noon as an appetizer.

So the OAC app on my TV says "live" but won't play the Mount game. The audio link on the scoreboard takes me to radio station page and says click link to listen - Mount Union v. Heidelberg from last year. I click it anyway and it says it is Alliance v. Bedford but won't play. So...how bout them Quakers.

I think you have to pay $10 for Mount Union Home Games.

Good win for the Raiders, but they better find a #2 RB

What?  You sound like your alma mater is Baldwin-Wallace?

Wow. BW falls to lil' Mount and JCU goes down to WJ. Not a good start for the OAC.

Oh and onu drops one to Alma. Not a good look when 3 of your top teams go down in non-conference play - and 2 of them to (how do you say this nicely?) less strong opponents. Sorry but Alma and MSJ aren't exactly power teams.

The OAC will be fine and probably have a team in the national championship again.

From the MTU release on the game:

"Senior kicker Thomas Piccirillo (Findlay, Ohio/Van Buren) made three goals in the second half..."

Made three goals???

What sport were they playing?

A bit of a bold prediction considering the OAC hasn't had a team in the national title game since 2018.
