Has anyone gotten the audio to work. The link keeps taking me to the Marlington vs W Branch game. I cant justify spending $10 for the video to watch the equivalent of someone repeatedly pistol whipping a blind kid.

I have never solved the 1310 audio live stream.  I figured it was somethin on my end since it never works.

one play, a blown coverage, away from four straight shutouts to start the year.  I get that the schedule isn't murder's row, but the Raiders are doing what they need to be doing.  nice to see a little running game

It was nice to see some renewed focus on running the ball effectively. Great effort by offense and defense vs ONU! Don't be satisfied,  stay healthy and develop depth for the long run.

Leipold gets a W vs a Raider again....he is doing amazing things. Does LL have ties to UW? They could desperately use him. Pay that man anything he wants and he'll have UW back in the top 10 in no time.

Yes, he was an assistant/grad assistant at UW under Barry Alvarez from 1991 to 1993.

Good ties? He was on the Frank Solich staff that got dismissed for no real good reason other than Nebraska's wildly unrealistic expectations.

awesome to see D3 coaches getting big school opportunities.  No doubt LK would have been great in D1 back in the day and hopefully VK and Tommy Manning get their shots in the near future, sounds like Grinch is a hot name once again.  Imagine how good Ol Pete could have been with today's NIL allowances, he could have been big time

For all intents and purposes.  For all intensive purposes. For all in tents and purposes. For all intense sieve purposes...

Great observation. When that happened, it caused him to intentionally veer away from D-I because of those unrealistic expectations. What happened to Coach Solich was just wrong.  Eventually, LL obviously decided to pursue the D-I challenge again.  But he did so with his eyes wide open.  Huge competing values at Nebraska. It's his wife Kelly's home state.  But, as you say, he is all too aware of Nebraska's unrealistic expectations.  I believe he would take the Wisconsin job over the Nebraska job in a heartbeat. However, if that is not an option for him, and if Nebraska comes calling, he's got a tough decision. Personally, I think it would take some convincing on their part. And I'm not saying Lance thinks this way, but the reality is that there are things in this world that are far more convincing than words.

Absolutely. Obviously everyone makes this decision with their own professional and family situation in mind, but definitely would have liked to see what he could do.

I wouldn't have taken Princeton, though, and not sure I would have taken Kent. Those were the right choices, in my mind.

This was my first thought when LL's name came up for both jobs immediately.  I realize Nebraska has NIL advantages over Wisconsin, but I think LL would be a great fit in Madison and frankly, it's a better job.  He's a winner and his name is gold in the areas they need to recruit the hardest.  He's not the flashy hire, but he'd be a great hire.  A more winding path to be sure, but my first thought was it would be reminiscent of Tress to OSU.  Have success in state at a lower level and eventually take over the big job.
