Leipold gets a W vs a Raider again....he is doing amazing things. Does LL have ties to UW? They could desperately use him. Pay that man anything he wants and he'll have UW back in the top 10 in no time.

He has ties to Nebraska...

Good ties? He was on the Frank Solich staff that got dismissed for no real good reason other than Nebraska's wildly unrealistic expectations.

For all intents and purposes.  For all intensive purposes. For all in tents and purposes. For all intense sieve purposes...

Great observation. When that happened, it caused him to intentionally veer away from D-I because of those unrealistic expectations. What happened to Coach Solich was just wrong.  Eventually, LL obviously decided to pursue the D-I challenge again.  But he did so with his eyes wide open.  Huge competing values at Nebraska. It's his wife Kelly's home state.  But, as you say, he is all too aware of Nebraska's unrealistic expectations.  I believe he would take the Wisconsin job over the Nebraska job in a heartbeat. However, if that is not an option for him, and if Nebraska comes calling, he's got a tough decision. Personally, I think it would take some convincing on their part. And I'm not saying Lance thinks this way, but the reality is that there are things in this world that are far more convincing than words.

This was my first thought when LL's name came up for both jobs immediately.  I realize Nebraska has NIL advantages over Wisconsin, but I think LL would be a great fit in Madison and frankly, it's a better job.  He's a winner and his name is gold in the areas they need to recruit the hardest.  He's not the flashy hire, but he'd be a great hire.  A more winding path to be sure, but my first thought was it would be reminiscent of Tress to OSU.  Have success in state at a lower level and eventually take over the big job.

I hope all of the D3 guys leave Nebraska alone, it's a bigger BW

Mount Union is averaging a double (+) monkey stomp victory per game.

Does anyone get closer than 21 points to the Raiders during the regular season?

Monkey Stomp = 21 point victory

Oddly enough, I do root for LL just cuz of D3.  I rooted for him at UB and now Kansas.  However, I did not root for him against Iowa State.

Now I watched the NCC and Wheaton game, and I think  I noticed a considerable slow down form both teams.  Last year I watched them a thought how fast they are.  Deangelo Hardy the big wide out is a force, and the running back is talented, but the QB makes some very poor decisons and the O-Line, does move like it did in years past.  If it wasnt for terrible play calls, and lackluster effort in the first half by wheaton, that game is a lot closer.

I think conversely that UMU is looking very speedy on both sides of the ball.  I know that the competition isnt the same, but I feel like I can tell the difference.

I couldn't believe that NCC let that Wheaton team back into it.  NCC has a couple of studs (Greenfield is the best RB since Kmic), but such a runaway #1 team shouldn't be within a TD to Wheaton multiple times for a big night game at home

The last time Wheaton possessed the ball with a chance to tie the game was 5:12 1Q.  Their adjustments in the second half were good and made the game interesting in the fourth quarter, but NCC never had to defend a single-possession lead after the first 10 minutes of the game.

No doubt, NCC is light years ahead of Wheaton.  But the incredibly slow Wheaton team was able to claw their way back into the game multiple times.  NCC should have had an easier time with Wheaton, at home, on homecoming, at night.  NCC should have ran away with that game
