Not this year.  Just meant they've played DelVal in the past.

When?

2010.  Seaman/Murray/Shorts team.
I asked because Mount's web site doesn't list any past meetings.  http://mtun.sidearmsports.com/sports/2021/7/14/series-records.aspx

They definitely played them.  I was there.  It was one of those classic Thanksgiving weekend playoff games with plenty of available seats.  If you go to the 2010 schedule page it's there.  31-3 win.  Sometimes those compilation pages on the website are not accurate unfortunately.  The price of being D3 and not having a dozen people in the sports info dept!

Didn't realize I'd opened such a can of worms lol!

Anyway I didn't get to see the game on Saturday, but I was able to listen to the first half.

From what the 91.1 commentators were saying it sounded like Plunk was either extremely accurate or forcing throws into tight coverage. Based on the other comments on this board it sounds closer to the former. I was also please to hear that Plunk was using his legs a bit and really opening up the offense. It even sounded like a zone-read running play was called at some point which got me excited about the play calling.

On defense we sounded fast and disciplined.

Overall this was exactly the type of round 1 game I was hoping for. I don't think Salisbury is quite as good as BW or JCU, but I also think Mount really stepped it up a notch.

I had a few concerns that Salisbury was really shutting down our WRs from getting open in the first half, but I'm guessing that may have been due to the wind making throws more difficult than normal. I was pleased to hear that Plunk had plenty of time to throw.

Looking to next week I think Utica is in for a long day. They basically couldn't move the ball on the ground at ALL against Susquehanna which means they'll be completely one dimensional against MTU as well.   I gained a lot of respect for the east region teams last year seeing a very stout JHU and Muhlenberg push the Purple Raiders  but I just don't see Utica getting enough done on offense to make this a game past halftime.

Agree, Utica will not bring a ton to this game. The Raiders however, have the opportunity to continue  building
momentum for the Quarters and beyond. If they reach the Semi's who will host that game? Assuming St. John's wins
their bracket, does record play a part of that decision. Other than NC, I do not know who was seeded 2, 3 and 4. :-\

Yes, record does play a part in overall seeding as does last year's playoff performance. I'd be extremely surprised if Mount did not host SJU considering SJU's loss against Bethel.

Then again with how the committee gave Mount a home game against defending national champs and undefeated North Central last year I could be way off base with this prediction lol.

For what it may or may not be worth...
Yes; Mount Union COLLEGE did, in fact, defeat Delaware Valley during the 2010 playoffs.  I recall following it ... a new opponent at the time.
With regards to the link to the UMU athletic site, it has(had) issues.
~Two years ago, they rolled out something new that had team logos.  I tabbed through it and immediately identified errors (the wrong Bridegewaters, for example). I contacted Lenny, and he asked me to give it a scrub, and I passed back what I had additionally found ... three errors, if I recall.  But it only was a scrub of what was there (teams/match ups) ... not of what might be omitted.

I sort of thought the opposite, with NCC being in the top right, I figured that SJU in the top left would be the "two seed".  But I forgot that they lost to Bethel earlier.  I guess it would come down to D3 record (Mount), SOS (SJU), H2H/Common Opponents (none), RRO (SJU 2-1 vs Mount 2-0, draw?), last season tiebreaker (Mount).  The outrage if Mount grabs another home semifinal would be something else.  But SJU is going to have their hands full with Wartburg this weekend first

WRMUalum13

Eh I don't think there will be any outrage if mount gets a home semifinal. It would be pretty obvious as to why an undefeated and #2 ranked team would host a one loss opponent.

Mount was rightfully on the road for semi finals in 2016-2017 it's not like the committee is completely unfair in favor of mount

All-OAC and Honors were released today

Rossy Moore being named top LB over McMillen is a testament to how well he has played.  McMillen won it last year, is a senior captain and has played at a very high level again this year.  Quite the ascension by the sophomore this year.

With Kevin Bullis retirement I just saw on Twitter that Logan Hansen the other day tweeted

For the next couple weeks, there will be zero active #d3fb head coaches who have ever coached their team to a Stagg Bowl final.
