Anyone know details on Mount Union preseason scrimmages? Practicing with W&J again?

I'd be happy with an updated coaching staff or a roster.  Sure ain't the same without Lenny around

Because I was bored:

OAC Roster Breakdown

If you see anything the script didn't bring in correctly let me know and I'll fix it.  Mount has no freshmen posted on their roster and Muskingum hasn't even posted a roster yet.  But the others "should" be complete.

hsbsballcoach7

It looked like Mount had a scrimmage or joint practice yesterday.  Anyone with news? It would be nice to at least have an updated roster.

National Champions - 13: 1993, 1996, 1997, 1998, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2005, 2006, 2008, 2012, 2015, 2017

I hadn't seen it posted yet, but the OAC coaches poll is out.  No real surprises here, especially in the top 6:

1.  Mount (9) 81
2.  JCU 70
3.  BW (1) 66
4.  Berg 59
5.  Etta 47
6.  ONU 37
7.  Musky 33
8.  Wilm 24
9.  Ott 20
10. Cap 13

Hopefully the new HC at Otterbein can get some traction because it continues to be embarrassing that our Columbus teams are picked 9th and 10th again.  Add on top that of the 4 Columbus metro area D3 programs ours are the 3rd and 4th best vs. the NCAC and it's tough to swallow.

the Mount special teams will be coached by a former NFL long snapper and a 14 year NFL kicker with a Super Bowl ring, seems pretty good

I think within a couple years Otternein will move back up to the middle of the pack. I still think Coach Z was a great hire there, and thinks will start to look better for them before too long

For those of us that follow Stark County HS football I admit I'm curious to see how Carrollton RB Chase Oelhmstrom does.  3 time All-Ohio, back to back 2000+ yd, 20+ TD seasons.  Any EBC fans seen him a lot?

D3fanboy

another former EBC back that looks interesting is transfer Steven Marra from Ashland, by way of West Branch.  6' 206 is a nice change up from the smaller backs that Mount has been running out there lately.

I don't peruse the page like I once did but I just spent a few minutes catching up on the last 5 or so pages and wondered if the OAC still has any other teams besides Mount Union?  The thread is the "all things Mount" rumor board.  lol

Sorry.  Back to your Purple Raiders content...
OAC Champs: 1942 (one title ties us with Ohio State)
OAC Runners-Up: 2017, 2016, 2015, 2010, 2009, 2005, 2004, 2001, 2000, 1999, 1982, 1941 (Stupid Mount Union!)
MOL Champs: 1952, 1950

Deandre Parker is back too?

His injury cost us the Natty last year IMHO!

That RB from Carrollton sounds interesting and the transfer from Ashland too. Nice to see a RB that can ride all the rides at Cedar Point! ;D
WELCOME TO THE MACHINE!

Others have to post.  I'm not going to post stuff for the Flaming Pile or the JCU Skid Marks.  Is any other team relevant?  Maybe the ONU Teddy Bears every 10 years or so (no offense to Coach Paul).
