Is Wayne Ruby not 100%? It looked like he had a wrap on his leg. He only had one really good catch along the sidelines in the 3rd quarter.

Plunk did not look good either. IMO.

Any input on how much LK is involved this year? I did not see him on the sidelines, but I was on the open side of the Stadium. The offense shouldn't be struggling like it is if he is in the building.

Also, what's with the new ticket policy not selling covered stands tickets at the stadium?

Cole Poorman (younger brother of Luke) is starting at WR for Heidelberg this weekend.

a couple of interesting notes from the Mount-Berg game notes:

Barrett listed as starting RG, Milano started last week vs ONU

Kaleb Brown is actually listed as starting DE, with soph Rex Kroger (6-3 240) as his backup.  Saahir has been listed as starter

also DL Elijah Franklin (6-3 235) got in some last week vs ONU, might be building up the DL size/depth on an already scary DL

The other thing that jumped out at me from the game notes was that Drew Sims was not listed on the Berg 2 deep.  Soph Gavin Reineke is listed as QB1.  He's 7-14 for 47 yds passing on the season.

checking out the replay on OACTV, it looks like Sims was injured on the final Berg offensive play of the 1st half (3 yard TD pass 46 sec to go).  not the best camera work, but certainly looked to be a little late of a hit.  Limped off with a left leg injury.

Tough break for Berg, good luck to the soph QB filling in.  Yearby is a heckuva RB and they are going to need him Saturday

A sophomore QB getting his first start against MTU Defense is not a recipe for success.

I have been reading this in the Game Notes for five weeks now:

"Dartt, who is undefeated against OAC schools, led Mount Union back to the Stagg Bowl in 2022 for the first time since 2017."

Isn't that incorrect, or am I just reading it wrong?  If Mount Union played in the 2018 Stagg Bowl, even though it was a loss, it would still mean that the 2022 Stagg Bowl appearance was the Purple Raiders first time since 2018, would it not?

At least they corrected the header on the Two-Deep Defense page.
It had been reading "Two-Deep Offense."

Plunk on the pull read for a TD!

offense playing with a lot better pace this week

D3fanboy

anyone know what the NCAA record for most plays on a drive that starts inside the opponent's 10 yard line?

11 plays for -22 yards was something to behold

BergAlum2

amazing the berg was even able to get 3 outta that.  If they were gonna score a touchdown in this game that was their only chance.  ;D
