It's interesting to me that the OAC has posted the OAC schedules for women's volleyball, baseball and softball in 2025-26 (post JCU), but hasn't released information for the sports that people will actually pay cash money to watch.

These things take time -- especially because football needs to be at home for Homecoming and Family Weekend. There's way less flexibility in a football schedule, especially one for next year because these weekends are already scheduled on each campus.

Doesn't explain hoops, though, other than making sure no one has too many consecutive home (or road) contests with the now built-in byes. That, and no one will want an open Saturday. Seems it could have (or should have) been minor tweaking; though, with the OAC coaches, nothing seems to be decided easily.
With the commissioner leaving for the UAA, perhaps that explains some of the delay.

The OAC Commissioner is leaving to become the UAA commissioner.  Announced today.

the OAC being leader-less in such a time of near constant conference change does not sound so great.

Mount Union RB coach Nick Kazandjian is now an Offensive Quality Control coach at Princeton.  I believe this brings the total number of Mount Union football coaches to a handful or so.  But I'm sure that there is a plan and alums/fans should definitely not freak out about not having an offensive coordinator, OL coach, QB coach, RB coach etc

OAC has posted its 2025 schedule
https://bit.ly/3yv1o7X

Of note to fellow UMU fans - Purple Raiders have scheduled a road game at Grove City (Pa.) on Sept. 13, then a bye week on Sept. 20.
Also, the game vs. BW on Sept. 27 has been moved to Berea. That evens out the conference schedule with four home games and four road games. Without poring over every schedule, I assume everyone is 4 H, 4 A.
Looks like every OAC team has one more non-conference game to be scheduled, presumably on Sept. 6.

The HCAC-OAC matchups look like:
Franklin at Muskingum (Oct. 4)
Capital at Manchester (Oct. 11)
Rose Hulman at BW (Oct. 18)
Wilmington at Anderson (Oct. 25)
Mount St. Joseph at Ohio Northern (Nov. 1)
Otterbein at Hanover (Nov. 8)
Bluffton at Marietta (Nov. 15)

but I thought that Mount only schedules creampuff non-conference teams?

Gonna need a home game in week one to replace Ferrum, can't have no home games until October

Grove City vs Mount being the only non-HCAC out of conference game is telling.  Mount must not have been able to find a suitable HCAC opponent...i.e. MSJ  wanted ONU instead of MUC

At the HCAC coaches meeting when the commissioner asks, "Who will play Mount Union?"

The winner of Berg-Etta is looking like a playoff lock in '25, unless BW....well, good luck to the Pios/Princes in the playoffs
