1st half against Mount:  15-21, 235 yds, 3 TD

I am at the Mount game. Mount looks slow, confused, and tired. They are being outplayed, outcoached, and out-physicaled. The play calling is horrendous and Dartt does not have an answer. The team looks unprepared...and they had a week off! Elys D is in serious trouble. JCU WR are bigger, faster, and more physical and Ely is letting the corners cover on an island. This Mount team is NOT GOOD.

Normally the board is raggin' on the Geoff Dartt offense.
Today, it is "Where is the pressure defense?" and I get it.
Not a football scholar here, but with regard to what I do understand, Mount Union is having a difficult problem getting an airplane off the ground today.

I like that we have a kicker though.
Except when they don't choose to use him on the extra points.

If they don't get to the QB instantly it's pitch and catch with wide open receivers.  No chance of the secondary stopping them in coverage.

Fun game to watch, sure you Mount folks might of got a bit nervous.  In the 4th, JCU should of rolled the dice and tried to go for it on fourth and on, I just knew mount would score if they got the ball back there and they did in like 3 plays

CAN WE PLEASE GET AN OC WITH SOME IMAGINATION???  There were only two creative plays that I saw all day--both were very successful.  Middle, middle, out pass, scramble--all day long.  I know a win is a win, but sheesh!
