All of Mount Union will be rooting for Marietta this week.  Good luck and send the Blue Streaks out with a loss.  I believe the Pioneers are better than JCU, and hope they will not have a let down after the loss to Mount.  They, IMO, are equal to Mount in many phases, and Mount fans do not wish to see them again in the playoffs.  No news on Beaudrie out of Alliance, but believe that DeShields has the ability to lead this team, just not as mobile as Noah.

Anxiously awaiting the Weekly Game Notes for the depth chart.

Maloney got the 2nd team stats early in the season.

Beaudry:  9 Games 110/159 1780 yds
Maloney: 3 Games 4/8 42 yds
Deshields: 5 games 14/26 181 yds

Maloney also has 11 carries for 121 yards

I would not be shocked to see Beaudrie listed as the starting QB and Deshields at QB2

Dartt's playing 4D chess, such a football savant.  Not updating the game notes, not uploading a roster until the final days before the season and pulling the football game broadcasts....oh boy, the opponents will have no idea what is coming

On the two deep...is it me or is this among the fewest changes on a two deep during the season we've seen in a while?  Obviously this is often dictated by injuries so I'm certainly viewing it as a good thing.

With that very particular rule for the OAC Bowl game, JCU can't play, and if Marietta makes it to the playoff, and Heidelberg beats BW, both the Berg and BW would be 6-4, who wins the tiebreaker?  I would assume Heidelberg because of the head to head result.

Excited for DeShields. Played well at West Branch as a prep, literally traveled the states looking for a college home, only to "wind up" at home for Mount as a backup (where he should've went in the first place).

And now has a real chance to do something special.

Would be a great story.

Always love a good Rocky P blast.

As for DeShields, West Branch is notorious for keeping their elite athletes back a year so they're older in high school. It's rumored all of the DeShields brothers did it, and most of the star players in West Branch's recent run also utilized this strategy.

So what I'm saying is he was old as a True Freshman X years ago.
