As the D3 pundits predicted, Salisbury mistakes could doom them and they did.  Fumble =TD, Running into kicker=TD and fumble stops a promising drive. Fourth down stops game Mount field position and a FG. Mount took advantage.

I think Mount can possibly make it to the stag bowl with TJ but can't beat NC with him. I think you need a qb that can run it also. I don't think you beat NC with a straight up pocket passer. Now that's way down the road just Sayn.  And is Noah 100% or still banged up. I wonder if he was 100% if he'd be starting or Dart just doesn't wanna mess with anything.

If Hegseth isn't confirmed he can have that job.

Let see, Mount playing pretty well.  Home game for Mount.  This means 3 out of 7 "experts" will take Johns Hopkins, even though Salisbury beat them 41-13 on 9/21.
Oh, and the computer still only has a 50/50 chance of picking the correct winner.  Two teams, one wins and one loses.

Transitive property only goes so far, if we follow that rabbit hole JHU has a really good shot at beating us considering they beat the team a team that beat Carnegie Mellon by more points than we did.

Teams really do change over time, last year Cortland lost to Susquehenna in week 2, in 2019, NCC lost to conference rival Wheaton early in the year as well.  UMHB lost twice to Hardin Simmons this year including a 44-21 win early in the season, but I'd say their November 30 17-13 loss is a bit more important of a game

I do like this matchup against JHU and expect a Raiders win, I just think they aren't the same team as the one that got blown out by the seagulls

I can't explain why Dartt brought him in for one series, and then never used him again in the game even when the offense seemed to be struggling, seemed like such a strange strategy

Great win away today. The Raiders have been consistent in the playoffs thus far and have earned the right to play at home again. Inserting Noah was aimed at JHU and NC. DJ has had very positive games and I look forward to Saturday. The Defense is really stepping up their game and it showed today.

I don't know how people will pick but I will say that back in that Week 3 game, neither JHU nor Salisbury started the quarterback it started today. That data point might not hunt, Fido.

UMU started a different QB on that date as well!

I thing there were multiple reasons:

Get Noah in the game to see how his knee reacts in Game Situation.
Make Hopkins and North Central have to prepare for two different Offensive Styles.
Keep Noah in the loop. If he is 100% recovered, it's hard to say he lost his starting job to injury.  I think both QBs are capable and Mount is going to need both of them if they want to win Championship #14.

1.  Not an "expert"
2.  I don't make predictions.
I am just a college football fan that is too old and too wise to make predictions about anything in life.

Not sure who you are, but I must have hit a nerve about making predictions.  Where can I see your prediction accuracy or are you just a keyboard warrior that likes to comment on other people's posts?

I'll further add that TJ may have had an equipment issue that he needed resolved during two plays, and these were additional benefits. I wasn't at the game so I am not speaking with any actual knowledge, rather just speculation.

Just wanted to come over and extend a congratulations on Mount making it to the Semi-Finals. You have some talented players. Although Echeverry may not have the impressive stat line, he was a great talent to see. Sanders also made some great catches that allowed you guys to continue to keep Mount at a distance. Defensively, Mount edge rushers and pursuit defense was the best I've seen in some year's, Rossy and Kaleb were fantastic. Kudos to the coaching staff on a great game plan, they schemed appropriately to stop Salisbury run game, and lived with Salisbury 50/50 deep passes, which your CBs made great plays all game. Offensively, the pass coordinator took advantage of the defensive scheme, especially on the outside and perimeter. Good luck in the semi-finals.

Does anyone know where I can find a full box score for yesterday's game? There isn't one available on the main D3 board and I need one to finish my pick-ems recap. Thanks.
