D3football.com was more than fair in covering the Fulford issue. I think the issue wasnt being fair so much as it was covered at all. I can see both sides - LK would have preferred the Barney Fife "nutin to see here" and i get that. Oh well - so on the brunch....I guess I was wrong. Had a 50/50 shot.

Re:  L'affaire Fulford.  IIRC, down the road the d3.com correspondent most directly involved said that he had represented himself in a somewhat hot-headed manner.

. . . As is usually the case there are approximately 147 sides to every issue.

Pat Coleman

Who in your mind was most directly involved? There was only one D3football.com staffer involved and that was me. Keith was not reporting the story and Frank Rossi is not a D3football.com staffer.

Sure thing. Had to go to Maryland to do it.

You guys are STILL having trouble with UMU player access? That's ridiculous, I'm gonna have to call and complain to the SID or AD or something...

Tony Lima?  no Mike Reghi?

And you can understand why.

I was at the last UMU semi final game so I didn't see the broadcast, i vaguely remember he was pretty bad though right? Was there anything in particular ?

Pat Coleman

"And you can understand why" is one of the lines from the Turbo Supercut from the 2022 semifinal. Turbo was the overused nickname for Hunter Clasen.

I guess the well of information ran dry when the backup QB transferred and took his father with him.

I think I had one conversation with Luke Poorman's dad, ever. You are probably also thinking of someone else.

As a news source, D3.com has been nothing short of professional, honest, fair, and have gone beyond to get things correctly.  They, IMO, have always demonstrated the highest integrity in their reporting.

congrats to Gio Kennedy and Rossy Moore on making the AP AA first team.  Echeverry getting 2nd team is an honor, but a bit puzzling.

Wrather (JCU) and Norris III (Berg) were also 2nd team AA

while 100+ people watch the D3football show, congrats to Weston Arthur of Mount Union for winning the RamTrucked segment on the Pat McAfee Show on ESPN. His clip of the monster hit from the Wilmington game has likely been seen more than a million times, received more than 100k votes.  Hopefully Weston enjoys that $70k+ 2025 Rebel Ram truck.  No other D3 program could have gotten that much publicity and no other D3 athlete deserves it more.

I just can't see JHU having a better defense than Otterbein (I kid, I kid) and holding the Raiders under 20 points.  It's wishful thinking for the panelists, but as long as Mount doesn't have a turnover-fest, I really think that they should be just fine.  JHU does not have a national semi-final level offense.  The big TE had a good day against UMHB's cover 2 and JHU really exploited a couple breakdowns by the Cru.  Mount has the athletic advantage in the secondary, and I really think that Rossy, Kaleb and Factor can be super-disruptive up front.

Bonus point:  Beaudrie scores a TD tomorrow

So in a nutshell: Mount has Moore than JHU. Mount is of a higher Kaleb-er, and the D will Factor into a win? 😁 Roll Raiders ~ Roll!
