4.49 at a pro day is legit. Might make him the fastest Mount Union RB ever.

Very legit. Bet it helps him get looks, along with the tape he put down in 2024.

As for fastest ever...I think Justin Wray would've been faster had he been timed. He could absolutely fly. Talk about the wrong time to be behind the wrong guy in the depth chart. Wray could've been an all-timer if Kmic wasn't in front of him.

Wray was a stud.  Aside from being a gifted runner he was also one of the best pass catchers at the position over the modern era.

If I am not mistaken, Justin transferred to Geneva and set several school records there.

I don't think so.  Justin Wray has the total offense per play average of any non-QB in Mount history.  Dude was a flash with the ball in his hands.  Sharing the field with Kmic and Pierre probably didn't hurt.  What a nightmare for D3 defenses.

I only started following Mount in 2009 so that was before my time, dude sounds like a stud though.

Speaking of speed, Luke Lehnen ran a 4.62 at the big XII pro day. Surprisingly slow for what I saw watching him the last several years.

I thought he was "the fastest player on the field" in every game?

Wild, but true, stat that puts his abilities (and that roster) into perspective.

Mount picks up another transfer from Muskie. Jose Matos listed as a 6-5 300 lb sophomore on the '24 Muskie roster.  Doesn't look like he was a starter, but played in more than a handful of games.

From an article about a WR NFL prospect from Texas (Isaiah Bond): Known for his speed, he was clocked at 22 mph during Texas' victory over UTSA last season. He ran a 4.39 in the 40-yard dash at the NFL scouting combine.
I could give up a 0.1 from a "baggaged" WR for a proven but unknown RB from D3.  Hell! ... D3=Mount Union in so many college football scholar's minds!
