b4uknewit,
Don't count your chickens yet about the Mount/Linfield Stagg Bowl. They have a very tough game next week.

b4uknewit

tdubs-- I agree, so do we. I will still gladly attend a Mount/Linfield Stagg!

I will just as happily attend a Whitewater-Mount Union Stagg.I'm sure LK still has a chip on his shoulder about remarks the Whitewater coach made about our level of competition.  Not sure who'd be the home team and get to wear the Black Nasty jerseys. BTW They wore my personal favorite uniform combo today. Black over purple. Sorry the Purple helmets look out of place with white pants.

BTW We still need to play two more games to get there and thats where the fun is.

What a turn of events, who would have predicted a power running game by MUC?  It sounded like Garcon was blocking as much or more than Ibeh, at least from the radio.  As much as Usee and I went back and forth about the "D", you folks that were there might be able to shed some more light on how well Mount did there.  It seemed well balanced at any rate and I for one hope this continues! Great Job Raiders-- Keep ROLLING~~

Ric
thanks on the TOP stat, didnt think there was that much of a difference but Augie did grind time until the end.
HurfMUC, and others,

One thing, Chuck Moore was basically in a league all his own and in no way by comparing Nate and Chuck am I implying Nate is a Chuck Moore, by any means. That's why i said " 3 years will tell" . I do however think he's got much of the same qualities Chuck displayed but obviously a whole different package. I agree with Ric too, that this was overall the best performance in ball control by the offense since maybe the Trinity in the Stagg, agianst a top performance team like Augustana!

Although it was sad to see us finally give up a TD after 19 qtrs ('nuf said about the D) our defense did a great job again today of stringing out the Augustana running game. They OWNED the line of scrimmage after the 1st qtr. And they forced a lot of mistakes. Either Augustana has an awful offense or we played great defense when it counted. ;D You see

Weren't you to sing the National Anthem today?? LOL
honestly, it was nice to see both sides singing it when the PA system caught larengitis(sp) , instead of being drown out by the system!

PS. maybe it was OU#25 's turn to sing it after his singing debut last night, ;D LOL!

I would gladly see any of those WR or CB from NMHS at MUC next year.

How about kmic, he is the freshmen sensation.  what a great day for that kid.
Look out capital is in trouble.  hammer and his band of merry knit witts would like to thank everybody in section 13 for there support and enthusiasm for our purple raiders.  HEY CAPITAL, BE SURE YOU HAVE YOUR BUS KEYS READY ON THE SIDELINE.
CONGRATULATION CAPTITAL. THIS PROVES HOW GREAT OAC FOOTBALL IS !!!!!

Good game today Cap.  Now, put Mount in their place, at their place :)

Mr. Ypsi

Considering the game that Kmic had, I can't help wondering if Robinson has just been 'Pipped'?

Ric,
I believe Moore was a Soph. in '98. He did redshirt a year didn't he? If Moore was a Soph. then that means we still need the last time LK used a Freshman in a playoff game...and the Freshman had to have made some kind of impact on the game.
