You should take Craig Bates with you as well.  I would assume he knows his way around Alliance pretty well.  Not to mention that if you were to find yourself stranded in the Alliance area (weather or um, a case or two of other reasons) you would have a really cheap place to stay nearby.

Did anyone notice who will be calling the game for D3football.com/ncaasports.com (linked from the main page)?  John McGraw will come to Alliance to do the play-by-play but it says Doug Phillips will be providing the color commentary.  I can only assume that is "the" Doug Phillips from JCU.  It's cool that he is providing some analysis if this is indeed true. 

There should be plenty of talent in the booth at the stadium this weekend.  You can't go wrong with any of the broadcasts. 

If the game turns out to be a bit of a blowout, you can always come on over to www.sportsjuice.com to check in on the Del Val/Rowan game and listen to a real idiot provide some color commentary.

JK-Tried to get your West Branch boy to go with me but a lot of the guys opted out to go to the ONU bball home opener against the purple raiders.

I think the celebrity Ric was referring to is the sun. That's right, the sun has actually made an appearance!. With a mostly clear sky it might be around for awhile. Its 19 now and projected to be a high of 30 at mid-game, with winds around 6 mph. Only two and a half hours to put all the layers on.

Yes, that Doug Phillips. I read in his Gagliardi Trophy nomination info that he has done broadcast work for the student station (I assume not for football) and obviously he should be familiar with both teams. Looking forward to it.
