2minuteO,
From a former ONU player I want to give you congrats on a very good season.  I was at the game on Sat. and your team played a great game.  It was great to see two teams from the OAC that far in the tourney.

HURF-- No I do not know him but listened to the interview on radio with him. Like the article 70's posted, seems very humble and always gives credit to the horses up front!    I saved the best bottle of wine for Main Event ;)

Thanks for the link to the Kmic article! Great story. Glad he's on the smal size or he wouldn't be at Mount! ;D

you said you were on the sideline for the cap game was you reporting for muc radio?

Yea HURF that's me down there on the sidelines for WRMU.  Looking forward to seeing Rowan up close and personal this week.  Should be another great game but I honestly don't know what to expect out of their offense with all the injuries.  Still should be a great game though between two of the best programs in D3

muc-raider,

No that is not the email I use any longer.  I will send you a private message through this board.  Thanks.

Also thanks for reminding me I need to change the emial address in my profile.

Maybe KC should let his bobblehead make more of the offensive calls since Delaware only went 6-5 this year.

KC even has his own emotcon on PP.   8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)

Hey...here's an actual football related question...

What region will be the "home team" in this year's Stagg Bowl?

The N/E rep or the S/W rep?

Did you all see the hit that Sickmeier put on Kmic it the Mount-CAP game? That would have knocked most runningbacks out. That kid stumbled back a couple steps and then took off again. Kmic is the real deal!!!!! I hope he gets the flu or something every year when Mount faces CAP I also hope he ruuns like crazy on everyone else. Good luck to Mount Union this weekend.

There was a brief discussion after the first playoff about Kmic's speed in comparison to C Moore. I had read last summer that Kmic ran track for Delta the first time in his Sr year and he owned the school record for the 100--10.87.
I did a little searching and couldn't verify that number but I did find he had a 6.99 for the 55, 11.17 for the 100m and 22.97 for the 200m in various publicized meets in NW Ohio.

Good luck finding Chuck Moore track numbers, he played baseball in the spring at Mogadore.

This was the first season I have not had season tickets to Mount Union since I had graduated from MUC.  That takes me back to 2000.   I went to last weeks quarterfinal game (btw, its great to see CAP do so well, they are a class program), and after seeing Nate Kmic run the ball, I know I will be getting my tickets again for at least three more years.  Kmic has the potential to go down in MUC football lore with names such as Borchert, Ballard, Bubonics, Marino, Moore, Pugh, and Adamson (to name a few of the offensive greats from MUC).  As dominating of a freshmen as I have ever seen.  Not only did he take a few hits and keep going, he absolutely punished would be tacklers in the open field.  Cannot wait for Saturday!

Nate already shares space with Moore in the Ohio High School Football records:

#5 Points in a season  294   (Moore 310)
#8 Career Points          598   (Moore 584)
#10 Career TD's Scored  89   (Moore 95)

Seventies, good to see you are still up on everything Purple on this board, lol.  The kid has scary potential.  He has been the X factor on offense MUC has not had in the past few years.  That one guy that everyone fears.  It will be fun to see how the Prof's try to contain him.

GO RAIDERS!!!
