Breaking news.  Four 3.5 disks were purchased off of E-bay Tuesday morning from "Buddy Ball" for $13.50.  Disks were shipped overnight to me.

What a scandel.  Buddy Ryan, former coach of the Philadelphia Eagles was involved in the Rowan victory at Mount Union 6 years ago.  Buddy was into raising horses. KC was into finding D- transfers.  KC meet Buddy Ryan when they were both recruiting the same players.  Buddy knew KC loved sunglasses and knew the CEO of a manufacture of designer sunglasses.

On digital sound, you can hear Buddy and KC  talking about how obsessed KC was to beat MU.  (KC even recruirted D-1 transfers at skilled positions for the purpose of beating MU)  KC knew that Buddy like horses.  KC gave Buddy 9 big stallions in exchange for 6 of his Pro football team players to play in the MU game in '99.  Buddy also promised KC sun glasses for life if Rowan beat MU.

On Monday night football, an MPEG shows KC and Buddy Ryan discussing why the Eagles were lossing so badly to the Seahawks and discussing the honoring of Reggie White and the retiring of his uniform number next to Jerome Brown.  They joked about how both Reggie and Jerome played in the MU loss to Rowan 21-17 in '99. They discussed how Cunningham played as a wide out.  How Andre Waters, Wes Hpokins and Keith Jackson also played on the Rowan team.

On another MPEG you see Buddy Ryan dressed as Sister Mary Low Girl dropping liquid LSD into two coffee pots labeled "MU Football."  However, on the other side of the large coffee pots was a label that said "Society for the Preservation of None Paytoilets in America."  Since that historic game there has been a significant reduction of pay toilets in America and an increase in the amount of free sun glasses KC receives as a result of the horses he gave Buddy Ryan.

What to expect for Saturday.  Get DNA samples of wideouts Wright and Silva.  On tape, from Monday night football is KC coming through the gates in makeup and appearing as Joe  Pa of Penn State.  Meeting him in a very short skirt is Buddy Ryan dressed as a Security Guard.

On another MPEG is Andy Reed, the Security Guard  and Joe Pa (really KC) discussing KC's obsession with winning over MU.  Please inform NCAA officials and MU administration of the following on tape, we want a fair game:

1.  Get DNA a testing of all Rowan Players.

2.  TO (Terrell Owens) will be switching uniforms with both  wideouts Wright and Silva during the game.  Coach Reid of the Eagles will receive bogus weights certifications for his LA Weight loss program for this deal.

3. Koy Detmer will be the quarterback impersonating Joe Rankin.

4.  Westbrook of the Eagles does not have an ankle injury.  He is replacing one of the several Rowan running backs who are injured for the season..

5.  Because of loud noises, we could not positively identify the two defensive linemen from the Eagles (reported injured for the season) and will be replacing Brian Bond at Rowan on the D-Line this Saturday.

6.  Two other Eagles done for the season will also wear the Rowan Brown Gold on Saturday.

7   The Rowan Owl costume is being altered to fit Buddy Ryan.  Bigger waist and much shorter legs.

I am in possession of a tea shirt that says "We Broke the  Steak" from the '99 game. Has all kinds of other information on the shirt about the score and other details of the ramifications of the "we broke the streak" which is now known
as a big fraud upon UM.

I discussed all this with my 14th court ordered shrink since I tried to get a divorce in 1990.  He took all the regular information, age, family history, birth order, etc. (I think he was either drunk or on drugs) and other irrelavant stuff.

He then asked me if I ever heard voices in my head.  I said yes.  He got out of a slouched position and ask me what the voices said.

I then explained to him the problem with HMO's and managed Health Care.

He looked at me with a puzzled look.

I then explained my major problem with the voices in my head were directly related to HMOs and Managed Health care.  He then pressed me with "what are you talking about"

I told the shrink that the voices in my head spoke in Spanish.  I do not speak or understand the language of Spanish.  I have attempted for 9 years to obatain a referral to take Spanish courses to uderstand what the voices were saying.

And then I asked him if I was granted the referral for a Spanish course, how would I know if the voices in my head were telling the truth.  He then wrote a letter to the Judge that he wanted out of the case. What a punk.

So what should I do?  Myself, being 60 next June, had bi-lateral knee replacements in June of 2004, married a lady 15 years younger then me (no Viagra involved) and now have a double hernia on the left side and appointment with an operating DOC  the Monday after the RU/MU game.  Officiated 4 sports for 20+ years with 17 filed complaints.  None validated.

no what? write a book?

Maxwell Field/Catdome ticket booth last Saturday....
At 10:10 AM, I paid $10 each for two reserved tickets on the 42 yard line in Row J on the visitors side.  That was a bargain.  Fiesta Bowl tickets for students sold this week for $85 a piece.  My son felt lucky to get one of ND's allotment.

pak97,

Yes but your hatred of Rowan is misplaced.  I'm not going to get into psychology of it. z-man was making a joke.  You guys have very thin skins for being the "winners".  I don't really mention clock or the game online anymore.  I'm convinced you guys do clock and Rowan searches daily.  I'm tired of dealing with it because there will always be the truth and "your truth".  Then pages of he said/he did/ they did follow.  Let it rest.

It was just a joke, Rowan fans can't even make fun of their own pain.

JT,

I don't think zman was making a joke...or at least not a funny one.  He even said he was still pissed off about it.  It didn't sound like much of a joke.

Most Bwater fans don't have a problem with Rowan football.  I don't think there is a "hatred" of Rowan football.  Most of us would like to see a rematch.  We just get tired of some Rowan fans whinning, which continues even 4 years after the game.  Don't misconstrue Pak's comment about a bad experience with Rowan fans to mean all BC fans hate Rowan football.

I bet you that if no Rowan fan mentions "clock operator" in response to a Bridgewater fan's post, you won't see all the pages that follow.

Best of luck to the Rowan crew this weekend.  I tend to cheer for the underdogs, and need you guys to do well for me to have a shot in the ODAC pick-em :)

miz,

zman has every right to be pissed.  It was still funny.  Unfortunately, it will never go away until all those involved are pushing up daisies.  Somebody is always going to start it.  People like pak and olinemom do it as much with their veiled hatred of Rowan.

It is one of the reasons you rarely see me venture into the ODAC room.  It lurks under the surface when a Rowan or BC poster posts in the same room.

Nice article in the Akron Beacon Journal  by Terry Pluto on Mount Union today.

RE: OAC in 2006

Capital may not be as bad off at WR.  While I don't know him and don't know his plans, with the recent playoff run and all the excitement surrounding the Capital football program don't be surprised if Matt Cesaretto, who sat out this season, which would ahve been his senior year with an injury.  He is a possiblity to return at WR.  But again, not sure if he is graduating or not or even thinking of returning.  Perhaps this is just more wishful thiinking from me.

Also I think I heard the Jason Bainum may still be enrolled at Cap, perhaps he will return to football. But either way RB is still deep as Charlie Smith is still on the roster.  In 2004 he was in the rotation with O'Reilly, Bainum, and Mulkey before O'Reilly really stepped up and earned most of the carries.

I don't think Cap will be hurting at the skill positions.  There are a few young WRs to step up-Mike Ndziewicki and Aaron Basha come to mind, however unfortunately for us Cap fans I don't see another Lewis Howes/Kive KRaft combo anytime soon.  Hope I am wrong.

I am also in the Terminal at Akron Canton Airport (15 degrees outside right now) and walked past a Mount Union Ad with a picture of Chuck Moore Running with #5 (Jason Candle ??) and #75 (Larry Kinnard) blocking and #7 (Rob Adamson) in the background vs. Bridgewater in the 2001 Stagg Bowl

I know for a fact that Matt will be back next year. I talked to him and his his dad after the last three games. Not as big as Howes of Kraft but he can catch.

Linfield was selling 10 & 12 dollar reserved seat tickets for their games. I was never impressed that they looked like they were that desperate for cash, I mean what would they have raised 7-10 grand?? I like the Whitewater approach, find a donor and give away tickets.

seventies,

Those were the Linfield regular season ticket prices and playoff season ticket prices for all reserved seats.  Gen admission was $8 and there are 4 sets of uncovered bleachers for general admission seating or you can just stand 8 feet away from the field.

I believe why Whitewater is giving their tickets away for free is that they only had 1,500 fans for the Central game and 4,500 for SJU (you knew that a big chunck of that crowd were the SJU faithful).  Semis is a big deal for any team and I'm pretty sure Whitewater doesn't like the idea of 2,000-3,000 fans in the 13,000 seat stadium

JT,

This is my last comment on this subject.  I never brought up the clock issue or any "hatred" of Rowan or their fans.  I simply stated that I didn't want Rowan to advance any further.  The only derogatory comment I made was the Roseann Roseannadanna joke.  Hell, if you guys said, "They belong in Virginia" I'd take it as a compliment.  One of your posters brought up the clock, and you brought up the hatred thing.

I have no hatred toward anyone at Rowan.  I just root against your team, just as I root against the Vikings in the NFL.  I have that right as a fan.

To all the Mount Union fans, I am sorry this has interrupted your discussions of the national semis.  Good luck this weekend.
