A post on NCAC says Wooster opens its season next year against JCU on 9-2.  I'm surprised Wooster couldn't find a better team to open their season but I guess they were looking for a sure win.

Has the baseball team started clearing the field? Do they use bats or gloves?

Not just the baseball team. My Fr. year at Mount, we played Allegheny at home and we (players not dressing) had to go out and help remove the tarp and clear the field on Saturday morning.

Much be nice now with the carpet and the snowblowers.

I think the black jerseys are the only ones with the circle and logo on the shoulders. White and Purple jerseys have the numerals on the shoulders.

I guess that would explain why I didn't see them other than in the playoff pics. IMO I think the purple and purple looks better than the black jerseys and purple pants  or if they had black pants to go with the black jerseys would be a good look also. Do they wear the black jerseys during the year or just in the playoffs? Since I am kinda new to DIII and the OAC, I enjoy reading the posts, trying to learn from the best ya know

I'm joking of course.  On the other hand, as we know, Wooster was not a powerhouse this year and JCU was much improved.  So in all seriousness, that opener could potentially be a good, close game.  Openers can be [un] predicatable at times though, can't they?  They are either blowouts or very tight games.

I've seen Mount wear the black jerseys mainly during the playoffs.  They also wore the them for a night game against Otterbein and also against Ohio Northern this year.  I think they wear them exclusively for the playoffs and for one to two home games a year. Basically your typical alternate uniform, except for when the playoffs arrive then they are the regular jerseys, if that makes sense.

Well the 8 inches of snow that Alliance was supposed to recieve last night turned out to be only 2 inches.  Tomorrow weather froecast:  Partly Cloudy, high around 32, winds about 10-20mph.

Considering its Ohio, good weather for tomorrow, hope for a good MUC fan turnout tomorrow.  This game is not a given win and it will take a non-sloppy game by Mount to win tomorrow.  Hope to see a lot of fans out for the game tomorrow.  Go Raiders!!!

I was by the field about an hour ago picking up my tickets.  All the snow is off, and it looks good to go. 

I am praying for minimal wind.  Last week was the first in about a month where that was the case.  Usually we have the wind tunnel.

Just arrived in Canton. Phew!  Weather was very bad through Jersey and Poconos and then cleared up.  Saw at least five semis in ditches or flipped.  Maybe my Fiancee is right, I am insane.
