To add to what Skunks_ Sidekick  said,

I too called the Salem Civic Center.  The lady I talked with said they had no tickets left on the Mount Union side.  She then told me that they were getting calls from people saying they could no longer buy two tickets together at the college, so they (the Stagg Bowl folks) are setting aside a Mount Union section on the WW side.  I got two tickets there.  Hope we're not alone. :'(

Sounds like the Raider Nation is on its way to Salem!! ;D

That is awesome. Looks to be a Raider Crowd. Wish I could be there, this seems to be the year to go. :(

Well, at least my cousin who has a son at Linfield, sent my son a NCAA D3 Playoffs t-shirt and said she'll be cheering for the Purple Raiders Saturday. Some folks have moved on.

I thought the Stagg Bowl was played on Oct. 22 this season... ;)

Toledo Blade article on Kmic.  Nice to see that The Blade is actually interested in something local other than the three big Catholic Schools (St. Johns, St. Francis and Central Catholic).

Sounds to me that Mount has found a real threat on every play. In the CAP game I was surprised they didn't throw to him more because when he got the ball he just out ran the line backers. He seems to have a good head on his shoulders and is headed for more MUC records. Good luck to him and the Purple Raiders this weekend.

is anyone in the dc metro area interested in getting together to watch the game?  i would prefer Mount  fans-but i guess UW-Whitewater fans would be interesting to watch the game with.  email me if you want to hook up.

Llamaguy

The Skoaltrain & Llamaguy would like to invite the Mt Union posters to stop by Stone Station for some Tailgate banter prior to the game on Saturday.

In 2003 we appreciated the Mt hospitality, especially BW3's, much more than the games outcome,LOL. We will return the favor at the Stagg this year. I will be grilling 75 BBQ chicken quarters prior to the game, should come off the grill @ 11am. We will be in the parkinglot at 8am. Stop by for some good grub and postpatterns chatter prior to the big game. Hope to see some old friends, Ric,HSCoach,Theaprof, and will Nat'lChamp13 be making the trip?

Look for us under the garnet BridgewaterFootballFlag flying high in the Salem parkinglot. Looking forward to a great game and alot of Purple on Saturday! ;)

I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.

I headed straight over there after I posted (probably got there around 11:00 AM), and bought 4 tickets together 15 rows up, at about the 32/33 yard line.  The middle section (C) was not available at all, so I would assume that the parents, and all the people that hung around on Saturday after the game got those seats.  The seats available were in sections B & D.  The cost was $13, period.  No student discounts, no child discounts.

FYI

Kirasdad-- I say you gets your A$$ up here to Ocala and we road trip our collective A$$es to Salem, watch the the boys raise the Walnut and Bronze  ;D and take turns driving home!

Any other takers from Florida? give me a shout!

seventiesraider

Despite what the ticket office tells there is a section that they consider to be for local Salem/Roanoke people and there is also no end to the room on that hillside on the south end. Don't anybody stay home because they think they won't get in because they will. Also if Mount Union had tickets on Saturday I'm sure Rowan and Wesley had some as well. Come to the game and you'll find a away in. Let's pack the place.

I think if I was in Florida I would stay. I could use some warm temps. I might make the trip to support the Mighty Purple Raider and the OAC in this one. If I drive over without tickest will there be a problem getting tickets? Won't know till late if I can make it. Maybe not even till Friday.

How long of a trip is it to Salem from Alliance?  On Yahoo maps they are saying 7 hours 49 min and on Mapquest they says it takes 6 hours 19 min.  Which is correct?  thats odd that the two sites would have such a gap difference in time.  And they both have the same directions too.
