kirasdad - I was a poor, broke employee in 2000.  See if you can't make it.  With the way UDub is talking, it could be a sweet, sweet victory.  B4, I think the 250K just means it is broken in and a proven commodity.  That horse still has legs.

As an after thought, you both are in FL.  Either of you near St. Augustine or Ormond Beach?  I will be driving there following the Stagg.

As for Udub, you gotta love the cocky posts.  As obnoxious as it is, it makes this week kinda fun.

moe45daddy,
Thanks for the link to the great story in the Toledo Blade on Kmic.  He sounds like a wonderful kid.  I'll enjoy watching him carry the ball on TV Saturday.  Go Raiders!

I believe Kirasdad is in St.Pete but not positive.  Mtfan-- You might have to break out the phone again just for old times sake ;) If my wife gets her way ( and she usually does) I'll enjoy a PURPLE holiday weekend with some great wine, MUC decorations on the X-mas tree, and one big ass TV set!  For those of you thinking about getting loved ones MUC Christmas gifts from campus gift shop, you may want to go now! I just walked out into my living room cause I could not sleep and it is filled withh Purple Raider EVERYTHING from there ;D   My wife is working overtime on this stay at home thing this weekend.    Guess I'll try to go to sleep now and dream about Saturday :)

JK and others - something you all are failing to understand, this is the
2005 UW-W team vs the 2005 MU team.  It seems every analysis I read on this board by some seemingly informed people always ends up listing experience as why MU is going to win.  I got to tell you though, from what I have heard and read about this WW team, they are not bowled over by the reverence. Maybe it's a little arrogance on their part.  But, I do know the Linfield people did the same thing 2 weeks ago, and all it got them was a seat at home. Everybody is entitled to their own opinion, though.
Just a side note, I am not a Warhawk fan, but I will be one for-a-day for the Stagg Bowl.

I live North of Tampa, sorry on the wrong coast. But I am building a new house and was eyeballing your product.  I think my builder is putting in new sod and a sprinkler system, but I have always wanted a turf yard. :)

I really was thinking about going. Checking the flights from TIA to Roanoake and mapquesting the driving route, but since I am doing a self move to a temp house (our new house won't be done till March) this weekend, I think if I left for the game I would be homeless myself when I got back.

Soul-Guy: A. Like we care B. I think that everybody here has looked at the statistics, seen how close they are and most of us base our optimism on the fact that this team is working from a tradition of exellence. It's some thing they came to school to do. Experience is only a factor in preparation. Our players and coaches can stay focused this week because all they have to do is take their finals and pack their bags. The rest is just part of a well tried plan. We won't bring "the wrong shoes". It's called confidence and it goes a long way in athletics.

Not sure if anyone is still debating whether to make the trip due to ticket concerns, but let me say it again.  THE STADIUM WILL NOT BE SOLD OUT.  Not even the MUC/Bwater game was sold out.  The allotment of tickets sent to each school might be gone, but the Stagg Bowl reserves a large amount of tickets for the locals.  Call the Salem Convention Center, they'll have plenty.  In fact, we've actually gotten better tickets by buying them at the gate than when we bought the pre-sale ones thru the college.
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.

E_Lee You want to come to Ohio and cover my coaching responsibilities on Saturday.  ;D Luckily all anybody in Mogadore wanted to know was when I was leaving for the game.

While Salem is just a three hour drive, and my couch is a 3 second walk-15 if I stop at the fridge, it is a pretty tempting offer to have the oppurtunity to start planting seeds of Capital University into the young minds of some of the legendary Mogadore talent.  I had my oppurtunity one summer when I worked camps at Kent State and lived with my buddy in Brimfield and I failed at that.

A friend of mine went to the Mount ticket office this morning.  He said the College has sold around 1200 tickets and still has plenty of good seats available.  So, if you're in the area and don't have your tickets yet, check with Mount Union first.

Now, do I go and get tickets on the Mount side, or stick with the two I have in the West stands? :-\
12-0 = 13

seventiesraider - although I respect your opinion & I absolutely agree with a lot of what you, you just strengthen my point...again.  You basically have said you reach the same conclusion (MU wins everytime eventhough the stats are close) because of experience. I respectfully disagree - lets move on

kirasdad...
got any of that "special" grass?

Nope, it was Olinemom who has it. :)

Just a quick blog for you posters

Whitewater  43    MUC 13

skunks_sidekick

;D  They must have some great CRACK in the latest cheese output in WI.
43-14????   That's about the most ridiculous prediction I have ever heard/read.

The day Mount gives up 43 points, and only scores 13, is the day they are playing U of W- Madison.

Oh these brash Wisconsinites!  To be so blind and so foolish.  It's like the ugly gal that finally gets to go to the big dance.  She is all a twitter with excitement.   ;D  For one day she gets to forget who she really is, and kick her heals up.

Enjoy your fun Whitewater faithful.  I remember my first time too.   ;)

wrighthall220

I just have an odd quick question for the MUC faithful.  Have the Raiders ever won the National Champ. with a regular season loss? Or have they always gone into the Stagg Bowl undefeated?  I'm just curious!

GO RAIDERS!   ;D  (I only say that once a year... being from Bridgewater College.. well twice this year since you all played Rowan!  ;)
