No one answered my question from earlier in the week.  I am just curious.

The only National championship won while the current group of Seniors has been at MUC was their Frosh year, correct?

So IF MUC loses, this group of Seniors will only have won ONE National Championship.

What was the last group of Seniors to graduate from MUC with only ONE National Championship?

'95? Is that right???  Was the second championship '96???  So the class of '95 would only have won as Sophs?

70's-- I'll try and put one more together for your long bus trip ;)

OU#25

I can't take credit for the original comment but I felt it was worthy enough to mention on this board... which is the fact that the #2 Defense in D3 America lines up against the #1 Offense every day in practice.

Kind of makes you sleep better at nights...don't it.

70's - I will make sure to look you up on Saturday during the tailgate.  I will have my 9 year old with me.  This is his first Stagg Bowl, and he is excited.  He gets to miss school tomorrow, so that is probably part of it.   ;)

Oh, and he said his Southwest youth football team could kick your Mogadore team's arse.   ;D

We are heading out tomorrow at 7 AM.  I hope this crap has settled down enough so driving isn't an issue.  Safe journeys and happy trails.  I have a great feeling about this game.

See ya in the lots Sidekick. I'll be wearing the purple #66 jersey one last time and Kevin will have on a white MUC practice jersey. Still trying to figure out who was ever small enough to wear a medium practice jersey. Tell your son he's messing with the Mogadore Football tradition, oops, theres that word again.

I'm with you, leave no doubt. The more I hear and the more I read, the more confident (and Arrogant) I become.

Seventies

I was going to say that Rodney Chenos could have sported a medium in his days but actually found a FR RB named Matt Foore on the MUC roster in 2000 that was smaller than Chenos listed at 5'6", 146.  Aaron Bubonics was also a little guy on that roster at 5'9", 153.

Calm down MUC.

For those who may be stranded in a U-HAUL and can't see or hear the Stagg, The D-3 National Championship, The quite possibly Best Stagg ever to be played,  The Big Kahuna,  I suggest (you) keep up with what's going on by calling Mtfan and get it live, just like on the radio!  I'm sure he won't mind answering 900 calls while MUC Cheerleader MOMs are screaming in his other ear!   His cell phone # is 867-5309,  I got his number off the wall...... so for a good time    for a good time caaaaall~~~~~~ROLL~RAIDERS ;D

Do kickers practice?? I remember him and Clyde Ross standing in the field talking. Never was there a kid who looked less like a football player than Rod Chenos. Accountant yes, football player no.

Thanks for bringing him up because it made me go to Ric's site and listen to the Chenos kick in 2000, Moores run in 2001 and Garcon's catch and run two weeks ago. I was crying by the end of that.

I can't wait.

Seventies,

I don't envy you that bus ride.  We'll head out Fri. around 9, but not come back 'til Sunday.  A nice easy weekend to enjoy no. 8.

Look for you at the stadium.

Does anyone have any gameday superstitions?

Since the 1999 semi-final I do not wear purple. Can't help it!

Hammer, you out there? You going to Salem?
