I am still mad that the MAC West Champ did not get a bowl bid. A pox to the GMAC Bowl and all who run it.

Well, it was a pretty forgettable game. I tried to get interested but there were so many interceptions and poor plays, it wasn't worth the time or emotional invovlement. Perhaps if NIU had been there . . .Now that you are settled in the new place, how is everything? People living in Florida need to have spare rooms for those of us posters who live in the northern frozen provinces. Alright Virginia is not so northern nor so frozen, but it"s north of and colder than Florida

!! Have a Merry and safe Christmas holiday and bask in the glory of the great Stagg Bowl win. The guys on the team should thank you as well. Because of you, they got brownies after the game. I hear they lasted about 10 minutes--that was pretty impressive as well Just like the D-Line!

Mount bookstore will have playoff and Stagg tapes and I assume dvd's after the first of the year when they reopen. Stagg copies often take longer because ESPN has the rights. Already a good selection of National Championship goodies have already showed up in the bookstore, in fact they are on the second shipment of shirts. If you can't wait till 1/3, there is a ton of "stuff" starting to show up on eBay.

Maybe someone will come in the bookstore and buy that one copy of the 2003 Stagg Bowl that has been laying there for 1/2 price for more than a year. Any Johnnies need a copy?

PS Watching the cross field slo-mo replay of Garcon's second TD, there is a solitary figure just beyond the fence, in purple, and yes the number on the jersey is 66. There goes my 15 minutes of fame.

Actually, we are in a temp home. We are building a new house, due to be done in March (we hope) and our old house sold in one week, so we are renting my wife's aunt's house tilll the other is done. It was already furnished so we are pretty cramped with all the furniture, but our new house has a bonus room over the garage we plan on using as a guest room.
