rumor has it that the mount union defence will take the field next year with sam vucelich, justen stickley, and mike gibbons... should be another fun year to watch in raider country

HScoach

I knew Vucelich and Stickley had another year if they wanted it, but never heard of Gibbons having one too.  Hmmm, not sure how that one got past us.
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.

Gibbons is exercising the "Pentello Waiver" for another year of eligibility.  I read somewhere that the Pentello Waiver was put into effect to allow OAC student athletes to compete in their college sport until they receive the AARP card.

This Rocky stuff is pretty funny, but the fact of the matter is that he is coming back. I love the AARP comment! ;D

So does anyone have any good transfers coming in this year?

theaprof

I've got an idea--let's put pads and frilly costumes on a bunch of guys--put them on ice skates and call it International Olympic Football--I HATE FIGURE SKATING--is it football season yet??

Please???
Reloading--Again, and again, and again....

I'd like to meet the guy who called Curling a sport. Changing a tire is more deserving of a medal.

In case BWdad is lurking behind the curtains, what does Jr think of his upcoming 2nd year with Canton?

Hmm, the last time we lost to ONU was in 1984, so I'll look for another loss in 2031. :)

<hopefully I won't have to eat my words later this fall>

Curling rimes with hurling. Coincidence? I think not. ;D

Isn't Buddy Wolf's middle name Pentello? Bring him back

I see on the d3sports.com/post front page that "Post Patterns" has been demoted even further down the board.  We are now listed AFTER women's lacrosse.  At least football isn't demoted to another subpage altogether.  I know it's the offseason.  I'm just glad my mouse is finally working so I can scroll once again or else I don't know what I'd do.

Re: Winter Olympics

It's gotten so bad that they are just wrapping CD's with ribbon and calling those medals this year.
