JK

Congrats on the little one.  Is he gonna be a lineman or a skill guy?

Isn't that what they called ONU when Edison was  working out the kinks on electricity?

A future Crusader...

Let's hope he doesn't have the independent streak his father has and decides to go to an OAC school neither of his parents went to.

My point was you did not see Kmic and Garcon in the same capacity as they were in at the end of the year and they didn't factor into the ONU game.

I do recall that other freshman RB so it ought to be a real barn burner this fall.

Hopefully we'll have Pierre at full strength too. The loss was a loss but it sure propelled the group to new and very satisfying heights. Agreed?

Yeah we pretty much covered that already.  I just hope we get a good matchup once again and both teams show up.

I don't know about the timing with Edison but it was after
Henry got his education at Mount and spent some time in the Civil War. The best part of this era was Ada had five saloons.

An article in the Canton paper today about the OH-PA Big 33 football game. Kuhn was quoted a saying if he plays well in this game he'll probably be going to WVU as a walk-on. If not he'll be coming to Mount. I think I saw somewhere that the game is on ONN at 7, Saturday.

Without knowing a single thing about the young man, I advise him to go to Mount Union, irrespective of his performance in the Big 33 - for the usual reasons.

Wow, negative 3 karma for saying "Congratulations." Somebody on this board needs to get a life. And perhaps a little counseling. :-\

I don't think I can offset all the negative K's but I can try to chip away at them every day.

You both get occassional applause from the black and orange as well but I guess whoever doesn't like you is much more dedicated than any of us.

Well said "seventies".  My dad is not in very good health at present and that is not going to get better.  And while "that 's life", it is not a fun experience to go through.  He (and my mom) went to every one of my college games, and although that is admitedly a "small" aspect in the overall scheme of life, how can I not be indebted to him for that, among all the other more important things he did for me and taught me?

I hope all of you D3 fathers had a wonderful Father's Day with your families.  All the best to all of you.

Since this board is on life support I thought I'd list what the local paper says are recruits coming from Florida to Mount in 2 months. Three were recently listed in the local paper: 6'2", 280 OL/C from Ormond Beach, 6'3" 205 DB from state champs in Ponte Vedra Beach and 6'1" 295 1st team all-state OL from Sarasota.

raiderguy

jdean,

What local paper and is there a link? I remember hearing about one of those recruits in an earlier recruiting update here in D3. He sounded a little cocky but that will be worked out.

I hope everyone had a great fathers day tool

Enjoy your fathers to the fullest. I did not get much of a chance because my dad died when he was 50. It was just about the age when I suddenly realized he might just be a pretty smart guy after all. You know when "your" 22 and you think you know it all!?  Even my great MUC edujimacation didn't teach me all he could have if I had been just a little wiser a little sooner.
