A guy currently on "The Price is Right", who has made it to the showcase showdown, is wearing a MT Union Football t-shirt. It is also heavily autographed. This is exposure along the lines of when that chick on the bachelor talked about how crazy her dad and bros were for Mt football. I mean that in a good way.
Saturday will be the most epic tailgate ever, especially if my wife gives birth under the Quick-Shade.

Cap is home vs. Bluffton, and I am not sure what the Otters are doing??

Was the freshman a true freshman or was it Greg Micheli who was considered a good prospect in last years class? He handled the punting duties in the later part of the season.

How else did the scrimmage look?

Mount has a punter?

That's hilarious RC.

Some day I might even try it myself but for now I will avoid the embarassment.

Iwas told the young QB was a freshman from Cincy. I know he was working with other underclassmen but he still looked pretty good to me. Actually all the real action came with the underclassmen...those guys were full go, even if they were told not to. Nobody really got close enough to him to threaten him, but he looked pretty confident and skilled anyways. I was just wondering how it would go if he had to work with the first team defense. Its always hard to identify the players without a program...especially when the numbers are issued 3 times (in each color). Would love to see them compete against another team but I guess that will come in a few weeks.

As Mount Union punters go...they are like condoms...you may never need to use one, but its best to have one a good one available at all times.

There was a report of a punter coming from W VA in the recruiting blogs earlier this year. I wonder if he made it to Alliance. If there was a weakness last year I still think the two times, lol, the Raiders punted last year they did not have very good results.

Plus if Mecheli is as good a QB prospect as mentioned he sure doesn't need people shooting for his legs.  JMO.

Do Capital or Otterbein have scrimmages this week?  If so, when and where?

Otters are at Hiram on Saturday, but not sure what time they begin??

Watching the Colts/Seahawks game I remembered Arth was no longer with Indy.  So I looked at the Packers box scores to see if he was getting any action for Green Bay but he was released back on July 26th.  It's unfortunate for him.  Also Indy's backup Jim Sorgi might have a serious arm/shoulder injury so it stinks a couple times over for Tom Arth.  He might have had a shot at some PT this preseason if he was still with the Colts.

Saw in the paper that Sorgi's injury may not be as serious as first thought.  Bad news for Arth catching back on in Indy.  :(

I don't mean to be cruel, but what does Otterbein expect to accomplish by scrimmaging Hiram?

Probably just a chance to hit someone with a different jersey on who is in close proximity and not in-conference.
