OU#25

I would like to throw out a question for discussion.  I've had the pleasure of meeting Kehres but don't know the man and therefore have no idea what records/stats mean to him on a personal level but what are the chances that he will stay at MUC to see his 300th coaching victory?

I've heard different rumours over the years that he's been grooming his son Vince to replace him but I'm curious to know if anyone has a sense of when that might happen.

He's done a great deal for the school and the city and I'm sure if he was not coaching he could run for Mayor of Alliance and win hands down...and of course I'm sure Mount fans would be happy if he hung aroung for as many years as Coach Stagg did.

Your thoughts are appreciated!

How would a mudbowl change the game?

Guess we'd just have to grind it out with a couple of 1000 yard running backs. How boring would that be? ::)

As long as the Raiders cover HSCoach's point spread.  LOL

In my feable mind, it all depends on the MUC defense.  I have no doubt MUC will score 45+, it's just whether the D gives up anything.

OU25:
Good question about Kehres.  That's a discussion that I've had with numerous people, however none of know Kehres personally so it's 100% speculation.  Anyway, the feel that I get is LK was close calling it quits for the last few years but Monty and the college president moving on has removed a lot of stress for LK.  Plus the young coaching staff seems to have re-energized him and made it a lot more fun.  So I'm figuring it's more likely he'll stay than it was before.

In terms of records, I know one that he'd like to have is Augie's record of 4 straight titles.  He's mentioned Augie's run more than once.

As a MUC fan, I'm praying daily that he'll coach till he's 100 like Gagliardi ;D
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Really excited about listening to Witt game tomorrow.  I am a little dissapointed that this series has not lived up to my expectations when I first heard about it.

Me too, Witt just gets rolled over.  I didn't expect the series to turn out like it has; but as a Cap fan I think its pretty funny.  Witt comes in with all thier chants sounding like some cheerleaders, then inagurates their new stadium by getting shut out.  Collins has just got their #, I don't see this years game being any different.

Unfortunately I will not be able to make the trip to VA this weekend--wishes from me for safe travels for all those headed south.  I will be attending the Wooster/ JCU game since my youngest has just matriculated to COW land and is in the band--I guess in this case I'm really going to see the band show surrounded by a football game, but at least I will get a chance to check out the Blue Stains and see what they have to offer this season--look for my extremely biased view sometime next week--or don't look for it, I really don't care.

I wonder if I can get WRMU or WDPN in Wooster stadium?  Probably not--hope they announce the Mount score periodically.  I don't understand why DIII football isn't on satellite radio.  Let's see----the DIII network, all DIII all the time.

What do you think Pat?  It wouldn't take up that much more of your time!!

I heard he was also running into a stiff wind, uphill and barefoot in tall weeds.  What a beast.

Last year when Mount played Mt. St. Joseph in the first week of the playoffs, I was on my way to Louisville, KY.  I was able to listen to WDPN untill I got somewhere southwest of Columbus, so maybe you'll get lucky.

Since i'm not able to go to Va. this weekend  >:( I just got a call from my brother there and he indicated they were taking a tarp off the field at Averett and had about 50+ ppl working on it, but the place was a mess. He also said the Mount team bus pulled by the stadium and stopped, took one look, and left! Maybe it was because there was only one porta-pot on the visitor's side, lol, ...oh well! Could there be another stadium worse than the old ONU field??  Admit it RC, you gotta like that! LOL....ROLL RAIDERS!!!!!!
