Well, since the game is obviously over (49-7 is official  :)) and it's already ten o' clock here, I'm tuning out.  Hopefully our junior team here in Prague will have a great game tomorrow to make up for it.
And for the students, another full drawer of clean undies!

OU#25

Mount over 300 yards rushing today against the 2nd ranked rushing defense in the country.

OU#25

Official attendance 6,832 today. Not bad for a stadium that only seats about 5500.

Another great comment from the booth:

"I'd be shocked if Mount Union kicks a field goal here.  They're not much of a field goal kicking team.  They're not much of a punting team either."

Yeah, you're not much of a punting team when you don't need to do it because ONU gives you the ball on the 15 yard line every time...

ONU beats Capital next week. Regardless of Pentello and all that - this loss will sting and Capital will not make it out of Ada with a win.

CONGRATS to the Raiders.  Great game.  Solid win.

I hope ONU uses this to come back with a vengeance against the Crusaders.

Yes, I am counting on ONU to be operating with a full tank at next week's game against Capital.

My wife has not yet met you, but knows of you through me.  She also knows of your Frickers-fetish (as related to her by me).  Thus, in her effort to help you feel better, she had a Bud Light (yuck!), in your and your team's honor/respect, from one of the Fricker's pint beer glasses that somehow ended up in our household goods when shipped from Ohio to here, "Blow-sier City, Lousy-ana."

Cheers!

Some comments from today's game.

1.  Too many TOs for Northern.  Those two INTs in the first half down near the endzone were killer.

2.  Mount is faster in black jerseys (it looked that way anyway).

3.  Mount did a great job eliminating J. Trusnik.  That guy is a beast, and to take him out of the game is great execution.

4.  WAY too many penalties (many of them stupid personal fouls) against Mount Union.  They played a pretty sloppy game from that standpoint.

5.  So much for this being the first game where the starters would have to go all four quarters.

6.  The brunch in the new cafeteria was subpar.  Three lines all containing the same choices, no waffles, no lunch food except for pasta bake.  Give me burgers and fries like there used to be.

Now, a question for someone in the know.  Why is it that only some of the players on Northern have their names on the back of the jerseys?  Maybe I'm imagining this, but I thought in years past everybody had a name on the back.  Anyone?

Congrats to Quaker!  Two in a row?  Who predicted that one?  Not me.  :o

She told you she has yet to meet me???  I guess you weren't supposed to know about our renezvous...

Leave it to you in your game notes to complain about "brunch".  LOL.  I know that they did the name thing on jerseys last year but I am not informed as to why or why not.  I know when Kaz was around, the freshmen that dressed for home games but that were not on the two-deep didn't have their names on their jerseys but that's not the case here.  I can't say why some do and some don't have names but I would venture to say there is some method to the madness.

Considering we've had to look at that shot of the scoreboard a hundred times since last year, let's adopt this as our ONU game picture ::). 15 yards rushing?? That's just not right ;D
