Is Aaron Robinson getting any time at any position?

What is going on at the Bein?  I thought they had some talent returning after a nice 7-3 yr.

an undefeated record is an undefeated record... take it as u will

I don't agree with this statement at all.  Let's use Division I as an example.  Let's say, for argument's sake, that Notre Dame went undefeated this season against that murderous schedule.  Let's also say, for argument's sake that Eastern Michigan went undefeated this season against their schedule.  Eastern Michigan's non-conference games were against Michigan State (a common opponent of both teams), Northwestern, and Louisiana-Lafeyette.  At the end of the season these are the only two undefeated teams in the country.  Does that mean we see Notre Dame and EMU in the national title game?  The teams' records may be the same, but Notre Dame's undefeated record means a lot more than EMU's.

Now, to bring that logic (in a sense) to Division III.  When you have a schedule that uses 90% of its games playing conference opponents HOW you win becomes very important.  Does Capital's undefeated record really look the same as Mount Union's to you?  I hope not.

RC-
Watch it!  The Flashes are on a roll.  They were 24.5 point favorites on the road (against Temple, but I'll take it) last week.  With the way they're playing right now I wouldn't be surprised if I had to take a trip to Detroit for the MAC Championship.

Does anyone have the result from yesterday's Mount Union JV vs. Harmony Prep- Cincinnati JuCo contest?

Toph i agree with what u are saying about D1.. i still see a problem with your statement... (commom knowledge) -In D3 all u have to do is when your conference to make the playoffs..  Unlike in D1 where a team may not play one of their league teams (osu-wisc).. In most D3 leagues they do play each other... so to go undefeated means u go to the playoffs... So if Cap goes 10-0 they go and if Mount goes 10-0 they go, but one of those teams are going to have a loss...  As long as one of those team goes undefeated and makes the playoffs who cares if they beat Wilmington, maritetta, or ONU by 1, 2, or 3 points.. they still made the show.... now u can argue your statement with where they end up in the bracket, but that is a whole nother topic

No offense to MUC, but when MUC got beat by ONU then followed up with a tough win against a 3-5 BW Team, everyone was screaming & yelling just like Cap's fans are now.  In this league against teams like MUC, ONU, Cap, BW, JCU, & others that are slowly rising to the top tier of the league, some games are going to be relatively close (especially if history says they are - i.e., Cap not winning at JCU since 1978).  My point is, let's forget the JCU game, wipe off the sweat across our forehead, and move on to prepare against ONU.  They will be ready to play, as they are probably upset with the loss they had against MUC Saturday, and do not want to loose on their homecoming to possibley put them out of the playoff picture, ESPECIALLY to Capital!!

Thanks HS

After seeing the turn over stats it clears it up pretty well.

Last week was the same deal at UW Eau Claire VS. UW Whitewater. WW had the ball in the first quarter on their own 47 (kickoff), EC 40, EC 35, EC 10 and the EC 9 as I recall.

Boy when I suggested that EC had handed the game to WW because of this you should have heard the out cry! It wasn't the field position it was WW great defense!
OK OK believe what you want but turnovers and short punts had the greater part to do with their 24-0 half time lead.

But......WW is still the real deal and a threat to be back in Salem.

I have a pretty good idea which one is going to have the loss.  Do you?

If Capital manages to go 9-1 (or maybe even 8-2 like last year, Otterbein is still on the schedule, after all) this season, they will make the playoffs again.  My point was that Capital's 5-0 and Mount's 5-0 look very different to me.  Mount crushes the life out of teams (including a good Northern team), while Capital has destroyed Wittenberg (big ups for that) and a few other OACers...but just like in years past, they let an inferior team like JCU (young, I'm very excited for the future of this team) hang around.  It's a win in the book, but it certainly raised my eyebrows.

Skunks

You are preaching to the choir ma'boy!

St Johns has a one gamer with Marietta next year but would be open for that '08 & 09.

It would be outstanding. Collegeville is a great place to play. The crowd would probably hit 15,000 since they can draw 11,000 for homecoming against Carleton and 7-8000 for other regular season games.

The only problem is the travel for both. Even St Louis and Danville are a bit of a stretch but that's what the planes are for. The west teams face that challenge every year too.

The other problem I see is whether you can get St Johns to come to Alliance! LOL!

They might pull a WOOSTER!!  ;) ;) ;) ;)

Nothing but nightmares about sprinklers and spikes! and I continue to LOL!

You can hear it now PFT,PFT,PFT,PFT,PFT,PFT SSSSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHPFT,PFT,PFT,PFT. ;D

well said crusader26

Huh?  I am still trying to figure out what c26 was trying to say.  I was going to leave it alone, but then you had to pat him on the back for that post???  It was anything but "Well Said".   :D

Well said.

I was trying to figure out the same thing. What was everyone screaming and yelling about?

ONU doesn't want to lose no matter who it is.

I was interested to see the new QB at JC. I have read a little bit about Kibus and he was supposed to be a pretty good prospect. He made several Ohio all star lists and was a highly regarded prospect from Cleveland St. Ignatius.

Sorry Laz, The JVs lost to the Harmony team 26-28 despite returning the opening kickoff for a TD. Harmony did likewise on the following kickoff . Mount had a chance to win it at the end but the sun caused a dropped pass in the end zone by Mount. It was a good game otherwise. Harmony had some real skilled players. One reportedly was an Ohio State recruit that has to get some grades in order to get admitted. Mount had a pass intercepeted in Harmonys end of the field at the end to kill the win. On another note...just like the varsity team....penalties were rampant. Its hard to win when you keep shooting yourself in the foot with penalties all day. Keep your eyes on #39, he shows up big time when the game is do or die.

That quite simply is a crock. All of last years posts are still on this site and we were anything but happy about the BW game. And I found no one making apologies for the team's performance. Be proud of your team, but be realistic, the JCU/Cap game wasn't a performance to be proud of either. (Unless your a Streaks fan)

The telecast Saturday night solved the question of what ever happened to Tom Arth. He's coaching, working with young Mr Kirbus
