With all those unneccesary exclamation points I'm starting to think you might be one of the ONU broadcasters.

Re: Trusnik

He came off a pretty significant injury to start the 2006 season and he hasn't been 100% healthy all year.  He's playing his butt off and getting double and triple teamed on almost every play.  I'd still take a healthy Jason Trusnik over __________.  Pick any DE in Division III to fill that blank.  I think his chances at the Division III all-time records may be gone but he's still the most prolific DL in OAC history.

Any suggestions for an OAC poll this week?

Mount's defense has given up five touchdowns to the opposition this season.

If you want to get technical the defense has scored three touchdowns (2 INT and 1 fumble).  There have also been two fumble returns by the special teams, once on a botched punt recovered in the enzone and once on a kickoff return.  I suppose you could count those as defensive TDs which would bring the grand total to five defensive TDs.

+ Karma for doing the extra leg work to separate special teams from pure defense.

In my opinion, I think blocked punts should count as defensive stats and punt returns as special teams.  But officially blocked punts are special teams scores.

Mount Union at BW

Anyone needing tickets for Saturday's (10/21) game in Berea can call BW's AD at (440-826-2184 or 2140) and charge tickets for will call. The have reserved on the 50 yard line as of now ($5).

They are planning to try and open the gates between 12 noon and 12:30.

Well, I don't have to worry abotu that since I can get in for free. Of course I don't know why I'm bragging because there's a good chance I won't make it anyway.

Anyway, is Capital due to have a big game against Otterbein? I'd say so after a couple narrow victories.

I've been to the last two MUC-BW games at Berea, and seats were never at a premium.  The view is good from just about anywhere, even standing up above at the entrance.  Alas, I am in North Carolina on business starting tomorrow, and my plane doesn't get back into Cleveland until about 3rd quarter on Saturday.  I will however get the radio on to catch the end of the game.  Hopefully, Mount can keep their total team effort roll going, and totally dominate the flaming pile.   ;D

i enjoyed playing at bw, it has a great atmosphere, especially when mount comes to town...i just wish they would get some new turf...i think its in the works, got those freshman calling me for donations for the new field....about time!

WDPN is 1310 on your AM dial. Ric does a great job!

I got word that Stickley hasn't practiced this week and that he is on crutches... anyone have any info?

WDPN is 1310 AM, but limited on area coverage...WRMU 91.1 FM has a much wider area of coverage and is easier to tune in outside of Alliance...I listened to them in Wooster...

Ric on 1310 is the best since Buckel left...Buckel was superior....you know I'm kiddin Ric..Actually the best I ever heard on MUC was Jeff Shreve, but Ric is pushin...

Ric is the best and most fun to listen to...has all the facts and his calls put you in the game...Unfortunately 1310 sucks at getting it signal more than a limited number of miles..

The college kids in the past have done a very nice job. I haven't heard them this year, but generally much better than any college station I have heard in the OAC...

Do you think that Heidelberg will hire from within the conference?  There are some good OAC assistants who could do a nice job....any suggestions???

I only know about Mount Union assistants,  and they have a couple young guys that could be good...What to you think out there?
Question is...can anyone win ar Heidelberg?
