Alexander is faster but Howes was a much better WR.

This week CAPS o-line will give Rocky all the time he needs.

Barring the unforeseen return of Lewis Howes, I'm not so sure how much time that is
If the O-line is only adequate then wouldn't you want him to run behind an upgraded line next year?  Just a year experience may help some but if the players are only adequate they will not improve that much.

I don't know how that'd be possible. Then again who knows. Maybe he'll make himself a class shy of graduating so that he can come back or something.

Yes, I'm just shooting out ideas that may not make sense.

With all the crap Rocky takes with his age and his 8 yrs of eligibility I can't wait until next year when Cap's starting QB's name is Assman.

Yeah I heard he's got three or four more years of eligibility easy.  The NCAA actually researched the situation and found there to be a hole in the space-time continuum directly over Bexley.  Rocky has a few more years for sure and it also helps to explain how those damn Hausler's never seem to leave either.  And don't worry, the Assman era is going to last for a good 10-12 years from what data I have gathered.

All this has prompted Capital's administration to adopt a new slogan:

"CAPITAL; SPEND THE BEST NINE YEARS OF YOUR LIFE EARNING YOUR FOUR YEAR DEGREE."
OAC Champs: 1942 (one title ties us with Ohio State)
OAC Runners-Up: 2017, 2016, 2015, 2010, 2009, 2005, 2004, 2001, 2000, 1999, 1982, 1941 (Stupid Mount Union!)
MOL Champs: 1952, 1950

Capital Football Slogan:

"The football experience here at CAP may not be the best, but we allow you to try over and over and over and over and over and over until you get it right."    ;D

Another Slogan:

Capital University.......teaching loophole exploitation to the finest 8 year seniors in the OAC!   ;)

That's a good one.

Capital: More 5th-year (or 6th, 7th, etc.) students then the Cleveland public schools.

good comments Mount fans... Stickley has only been at Mount for what 10-15 years... How about Mounts slogan "If u cant qualify at any other school we will be happy to have u on our football team"

Are Rocky Pentello being an old man jokes really still funny?

The math is pretty much cut and dry.

2001-Pentello walks on at Toledo.  Leaves school and team before taking a class.
2002-Pentello enrolls at Capital University.  Joins football team.  Penello is injured is 1st quarter of 1st game.  He is subsequently granted a medical red shirt
2003-Pentello plays football at Capital.  Is considered a freshman, eligibilty wise.
2004-Pentello plays football at Captial.  Is considered a sophomore, eligibility wise.
2005-Pentello plays football at Capital.  Is considered a junior, eligibility wise.
2006-Pentello plays football at Capital.  Is considered a senior, eligibility wise.

There you have it, my greatest work ever, A Brief History of Rocky Pentello's Collegiate Playing Career
