Of course he is my nephew and I am biased but it doesn't change the facts.     My point is that he needs to be considered as the POY for this year and not the Best 5 OAC QB's of all time.

No that wasn;t me yelling pad his stats at Capitol.     I could care less about padding stats.

But when you are up by 30 and still have your entire first team in there and are still passing, it doesn't say much for sportsmanship.

In comparison, if you have seen any OAC games, Capitol and Mount had superior teams that can roll over most of the other teams.      I don't need to stick up for my nephew, his stats and his come from behind victory over BW speaks for itself.

PS-  To my other responder, they won 5 games this year and Capitol was the only blow out they had and the coach pulled him.  in the 3rd Quarter.

My comments were not made to be critical of any other players, just to express my feelings.  I admire anyone that makes the committment to make all the necessary sacrifices to play football at this level.

What are the chances if Mt. wins out, that we will see the Mt.st. joes lions again this year as our first play off game?

Mr. Ypsi

Although they pair AT LEAST as much by travel distance as by seeding, I'd say fairly remote since MSJ will probably be the #2 seed.  The MIAA or NCAC champ is probably a more likely first round game.

A young player I'm really impressed with is Terrance Mooring,FB at Mount Union. This kid is the seconed coming of Dan Pugh. He's a  slippery Dan, not his equal yet,and a good reciever and scorer.Another super-soph for the Purples.

I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.

hey SPARCC  .... if u want Vrable mentioned with Pentello and Jorris then please at least spell Capital correctly...   CAPITAL not CAPITOL

sorry PURPLE, but is this guy from Mount a Freshman or Soph... important to know if the OAC teams are going to see him for 2 more years or 3

SPARCC:  I believe the post below says it all...he is being considered as POY, along with others.

You didn't even mention Jason Vrable from Marietta who is 4th in the nation in total yards.  His running game averages 35 yards a game but he is averaging 300 per game passing.  He rushed for 125 yards last week and threw for 286.  I know wins and losses and popularity dictate winners but in pure stats, this kid has broken all the career records at Marietta.      You really need to include him.  He has outpassed Rocky this year.  Rocky is a great Quarterback with a lot of guts but this is Jason's year

His name is on the Poll at the top of the board.  Who didn't mention him? Mr. R Vrable...

If Capital makes the playoffs, I personally would like to see the play Mt. St. Joe at the MSJ. Nice and close to home and with a win, it may help with recruiting in the Cincinnati area, especially with the GCL and bigger public schools. ie. St. X, Moeller,Elder,Lasalle,Roger Bacon, McNick,Badin,Purcell,Colerain,Oak Hills,Lakota's and Sycamore.

BORING is those on here that believe they are almighty because they played back in the 60's and 70's and more than likely have no clue what the game of football is like today... Bigger, Stronger, and Faster....  The ones that come on her and have hundreds and thousands of post and all they can say is wow that was boring or hey buddy that was said on another link or try and degrate someone for not being as on top of this website as others... Word to the wise write something meaningful... As a fan of the game I have been writing more insightful things on here only to have those Raider watchers SMITE away...  I almost want to start a new campaign and would it sound familiar to those who have been breathing for the last few years "We Salute you Mr. D3forum Smiter... While other people are writing about their team or giving insightful info, you are staring away at the screen waiting to give a newbie a smite" so crack open an ice cold beverage, but wait it may include looking away for a few seconds ;)
In General not for one specific person and this was not written about my smites
