The results for Round 2 and the spreads for Round 3 have been posted.
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.

Rocky VI and it comes out just the same
And your green and white team?  How did they do the other night?  I haven't heard yet, 70's raider?

I, too, just got back from Ohio within the hour.

Capital is pretty good.  Rocky Pentello is pretty good.

One thing Capital needs from the past is the jazz band to return and play 70s porn music.

Mike Ancona has coached more Post Patterns participants on the offensive line(me, 2minuteO, and blind side) than any other coach.  Good job, coach!

RAIDERS ROLL--STOP THE CRUSADERS!!  LET'S MAKE IT PENTELLO 6-0 VS. MOUNT

Wouldn't that be 0-6???

Hope theaprof isn't in the math department.

Sometimes you eat the bear and sometimes the bear eats you

Went to Alliance yesterday to be on the winning side of a slobberknocker. Oh well no shame in making the final four in OHSAA Football

Congrats to Mount and Capital on their wins yesterday.  Mount's game shows what a balanced team it is in both running and passing (i.e. running the big gun against Wheaton, while passing was against Hope).  Anyway, the rematch of Capital/Mount should be a good one next week.  Good luck to your teams for an exciting game.  Hopefully, you'll will have good weather also.

Weather Channel says rain and snow on Friday and a high of 32 on Saturday. Pretty much a rerun of last year, but it didn't seem to slow down the game one bit.

Congrats to Cap for their big "W" on Saturday...since the MUC Regular Season Loss, Cap has been clicking on both sides of the ball.  Watching yesterday's game was very pleasing, as NCC's Defense had no answer for Cap's Offense, and Cap's Defense put the wood to NCC's Offense.  NCC racked up some yardage in the air the first half, but Cap was able to put pressure on Kniss the entire second half & that made the difference!!  I haven't seen Cap's Defense hit as hard as they did since last years playoff run!!  Good luck in Alliance on Saturday!!

As a "want it all" Mount fan, I am just a bit worried about Mount's passing game as of late.  It seemed like when we did throw the ball yesterday, we were for the most part just a bit "off".  I think one of these games (maybe this weekend but I doubt it) we are going to need the passing game to match the success of the running game.

However, so far no one has shown they can stop Mount's dominant running game.  With the line doing an outstanding job, and Kmic making one guy miss and getting ten yards before you can blink your eyes, things are very very very good with that aspect of the Mount offense.  I just don't see CAP being able to stop our running game, nor do I see them being able to run against our D (as no one has as of yet).  To me, that spells another two or three touchdown win for Mount.
