Many have come into Alliance with high hopes of winning but not even a handful have gone home happy. It should be a good game but the odds are in Mount's favor. I believe we have the better D and that's what wins games.

How does the 4th leading passer in D3 history not get invited to the Aztec Bowl?

I wondered the same on the Aztec Bowl site (general football).

NONE of Cap's players got selected, and (since they take semi-finalist losers) NO one except one Wesley player among the 4 is even a TBA?  I never did get a response in terms of WHO picks, and by WHAT criteria.

Before you ask how he doesn't get invited you should know for certain that he didn't say "no thanks".  Maybe you do already.  But we can't just assume he didn't get the call.

Reading the Aztec thread though I noticed that the afca poster said all AFCA All-Americans are automatically invited regardless of playoff status.  The list comes out Monday but I would guess that means we won't be seeing Rocky on the AFCA AA list either.

The OAC is sending three players out of 45.  A quick look at the roster shows me only the WIAC has more representatives with 4 and the only time they've sent more than 3 was in 2004.
OAC Champs: 1942 (one title ties us with Ohio State)
OAC Runners-Up: 2017, 2016, 2015, 2010, 2009, 2005, 2004, 2001, 2000, 1999, 1982, 1941 (Stupid Mount Union!)
MOL Champs: 1952, 1950

All star teams/games are a means of recognizing several of the deserving. Also incidentally they give undeserved recognition to a few and fail to give recognition to many of the deserving. There is no precision in the process, and there isn't intended to be. Very much precision would require more time and effort than reasonably available.

Call was received from Capital before the playoffs that Rocky was going to be invited based upon playoff scenario...once the playoffs began, no call was ever made to Cap.  Now that Cap is officially over, still no phone call...kind of bush when Rocky nor K Hausler does not get the invite...both are All-Americans & well deserving!!

In regards to the Aztec bowl, maybe they want to give the other team a chance?

Mexico has VERY little chance anyway (they're 1-8), but I DO wonder about the selections! ;D

When was the last time a Mt. Union player was selected to the Aztec bowl? and who was the player?

When was the last time they didn't have something better to do that day?! ;D ;)

Well if MUC was to lose a game, it would be the semi-final's at home.  Two out of their four loses since 1996 have been in the National semi's at home.  I'm hoping they dont though. Go mount

2004, but I don't expect it to happen this year.  I figure they are good for a +17 win.  Looking to seeing you guys down in Salem.  Get'er done this weekend.
