alright it looks as if there is some more Rocky controversy.... As u may have noticed through my posts i am friend of Rock... I have not heard anything from him about the Aztec Bowl.. I will try and give him a call and get an answer for all of us..

I know for a fact that they have a waiting list just incase someone backs out... that list is usually not posted... his name may have been put on that list...

wow 100 posts

HScoach

Maybe he didn't get invited because no one outside of Columbus thinks he's any good? ;D

I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.

I think they have an age limit for that game.

Sorry couldn't help myself.

OOOO MOUNT UNION IS GOING TO GET CRUSHED THIS WEEKEND!!!!! WHOOOOAAAAA NELLY THEY ARE GOING TO GET SMASHED, THEY WON'T KNOW WHAT HIT THEM

FINAL SCORE

FISHER 88
MT. UNION 3.14

i kid i kid, i already made my official prediction of Mt. Union 42 Fisher 17 and I am a pretty big Fisher fan, so it hurts to think your team is going to lose by almost four touchdowns.

Congrats on the century mark. Now you can smite away.  I'll have to be nicer to you now.

BTW, what is the story behind no "Award Stickers" on Rocky's helmet?

Also, I think Rocky got the shaft on the Aztec Bowl...

ha alot of people don't get the booby reference, they think i'm being vulgar

i do not believe Rocky has ever put his helmet stickers on... I know for a fact he does not give them to his O-Line  ;D...
By the way he would dominate the Aztec Bowl
Ripley's Believe it or not

Rocky's appearance (Tattoos, earrings, and tanning) does not give a good reading on his personality.. he is probably the most quiet person on the team... he mainly speaks up during games.. he does have a few close friends that he likes to hang out with, but mostly resorts back to staying home...

If i had to guess about the helmet stickers i would say he is just too lazy to put them on...

Kirasdad- some people i guess just hate me... my first post in almost a week was smited... i have not been RUDE in almost 2 weeks lol

Their yardage given up is decieving.  They run a 4-4 w/ a cover 3 behind it, its a bend but dont break philosophy.  They'll give you the underneath stuff but their objective is not to give up the big play, they've only allowed 6 TD passes all season.  They tighten up in the redzone as well, they only allow 12 pts a game (55 came in a shootout loss vs a team that could do nothing wrong that day).

I really do expect a good game Saturday, but I believe this bend but don't break defensive approch may break. I'm not sure that SJF want's guys like Garcon, Wray, & Knic to get their hands on the ball underneath the coverage. Once loose in the secondary, they are really dangerous.

BTW, safe travels to all coming from NY!

reality check

This playoff run has to be the tamest I can recall when it comes to smack from opposing teams.  Who would have honestly suspected the Capital guys would ruffle the most feathers?  Teams nowadays don't even predict upsets it seems; their predictions lean toward "respectable losses".  After 8 championships and 132 or so OAC titles, it appears the rest of the nation knows better than to make bold predictions.

MOL Champs: 1952, 1950

Small but Slow

Long time reader, first time contributor.  Read the posts from the gentleman from Texas regarding the "collapse of the Mount dynasty" and felt compelled to respond. Winning the right way perpetuates itself.  Coach Kehres and prior to him, Coach Wable, built this program over a long period of time.  Success did not come overnight and came in many stages, beginning with the first OAC title and playoff appearance in 1985 and a rebuilding period from 1987-1990 in which Coach Kehres, Coach Montgomery, and Coach Woj raised expectations, which increased the intensity of the offseason program.  Many D-I coaches have studied the MUC model for building their programs.
Yes, the run will end as do all good things, but I doubt we see another program achieve the success that Mount has over the past 13 seasons.

Small but Slow,
