I just got some information regarding Mount's offensive scheme for this weekend.  I did double-check with someone in authority before putting it out there on this board.  If you didn't already know, I am a "friend of a friend" of LK's.  Therefore, I get some inside info on occasion which at times I can share, and at times I can't.  Well this is one of the times I can, and it's fairly intriguing.

Word is, Mount has been using a rotation of Jorris, Micheli (way more Micheli than Jorris), and get this.........GARCON......AND KMIC in the QB spot while running the O.  Evidently LK believes the answer to this weekend is to run, and he wants to make sure Garcon gets his touches of the football.  Think shotgun/option/single wing.  Evidently, when they put Kmic at QB they load the wings with Morring and Antanucci, and just power it up.

VERY INTERESTING!   :o  (LK is a mad scientist/genious)

Skunks, that info was not supposed to get out before the game!  But if you're telling secrets then I'm curious to hear how the CARDS will stop Mount's full house backfield this Saturday ? (Kmic, Morring & Wray)
They will line up 11 guys on the other side of the ball and pray!

If you're able to dominate on the ground...and I mean dominate then I probably would do the same thing as LK as been doing.

Additionally, with the technology available today (YouTube, myspace, cellphone video) I would put out as little content and limited playcalling as possible to the potential team scouting me. I think Kehres does not want to show too much until the time is right...and history shows that to be true.  Last year's Rowan semi-final game looked nothing like the Whitewater game...etc.

All those familiar with Mount know what their capable of doing offensively, defensively and on special teams...and historically Mount has been able to adjust game to game, quarter to quarter...so I for one am not concerned about the play selection of late.

see I think just running the ball would really help Fisher as they are an excellant run defense...check Union Springfield and Rowan have all done this year

You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.

I think all of that inside info is a load of crap, and MUC will come out just as well balanced as always.

Nobody believes that inside tidbit from our camp (of course can't speak for everyone).

Yeah, but St. John Fisher hasn't seen a ... well, anyway. We'll find out Saturday.

Now now Pat - You set the tone early that that line wasn't allowable!  :)

Seconded - I think our run defense is our biggest defensive strength.

57- I don't buy into that anyway. They'll be their usual selves I'm sure.

no really tags....  I think they should put the LT as running back for a couple of plays and then have the water boy subistute in as WR for a few plays

Mt's strong team this year is not the offense.

I put a prediction contest for Saturday's SJF/Mt. Union game on the E8PP - requires a quarter-by-quarter estimate of the score, with the person coming closest (using each team's score compared to the guesses each quarter, and adding all eight figures together) will win a 2007 ESPN Sports Almanac.  Place your entries in the E8PP just so we can clutter up that discussion area more.

QuoteMUC will come out just as well balanced as always.

They ran the ball 64 times last week and passed nine.  If that's balanced, you have a very strange idea of equilibrium.

alright it looks as if there is some more Rocky controversy.... As u may have noticed through my posts i am friend of Rock... I have not heard anything from him about the Aztec Bowl.. I will try and give him a call and get an answer for all of us..

I know for a fact that they have a waiting list just incase someone backs out... that list is usually not posted... his name may have been put on that list...

wow 100 posts

Congrats on the century mark. Now you can smite away.  I'll have to be nicer to you now.

BTW, what is the story behind no "Award Stickers" on Rocky's helmet?

Also, I think Rocky got the shaft on the Aztec Bowl...

There never has been stickers on his helmet...never put them on!!  As for the reason why his helmet looked sparkily clean in the pic you saw a few weeks back, his uni was left at JC after the game and never claimed.
