Mt's strong team this year is not the offense. 

funny...their #1 in the nation on offense out of only 234 or so D3 Football programs. 

That's like saying the sun's not really good at heating the earth.

Kirasdad - Still in the high desert, but not for long.  This transplanted buckeye is headed back to OH.  On the more immediate front, I am flying into CAK next Thursday and driving down for the Stagg.  Man, it is tough not getting to watch these guys all through the season.

Mt.'s offense is on the field alot these days OU 25.  Their number one that's true but the reason seems to be the number of chances they get to do their thing.  I stand by my statement ,  their defense is the strongest part of their machine this year.  And if they are to prevail, their defense will make it so.

on another note,  I watched Studebaker play against Mt.  He was good but nothing stood out that would make me believe he was all region material.  But of course he doesn't play in the OAC.  Stickley was much better in that game.

70's raider   amen to that Mount wins 42-10...  no challenge in this one... BW would win by 10 just because thier offense is not that great  and Capital beats Fisher by 20 with Assman at Qb lol... time to start putting his name out there...

It's currently about 15, wind chill of 0, 2-3 inches of snow depending on where you are standing. It shoud be a good deal warmer tomorrow, ie 35-40

[Small but Slow]

Mount has won champioships with an awesome passing game, dominant running attacks, and well balanced offense, but the defense has always been the constant.  They are not always the biggest or fastest and may get off to the occasional slow start, but adjust very well and take control of the game and allow the offense to do their job.
