In my infinite wisdom, I watched the whole thing up until Oklahoma returned the interception for a TD with a minute+ to go.

The prologue, Merry Raider Christmas, Happy PRaider New Year, has elicited comments pro and con.  In revisiting the thread, I will not address those but add just a final comment or observation, or two, and complete this study.

As outlined in previous posts, the Raiders may cover the prime numbers, with matching victories of significance, all the way to Prime Number = 53.  Going on, they could achieve 68 consecutive victories which would correspondence to Stagg Bowl victory 12, five Staggs in a row in 2009.

In 2010, they could achieve Stagg Bowl victory 13 (6 consecutively).  That would be Prime Number = 83.  Greg Micheli could celebrate such a momentous Stagg Bowl by visiting Salem in his tattered, if not retired, jersey number 13.

The epilogue to Merry Raider Christmas, Happy PRaider New Year is brief but must be incomplete as my mind is going to explode if I continue much further.  But, wait, could there be more?  2011 could bring the 7th Stagg Bowl (number 14) in succession and the 98th win overall.

2012 could be the year of Prime Victory 113, Stagg Bowl 15 and eight national championships in a row.  See what I mean?  My head is going to explode.

PRaiders and PRaider fans exist the world around.  Anti-Raiders exist in substantial numbers, at least in the OAC and to a lesser extent in the North Region and D3 in general.  Does my series of posts constitute "locker room" material for future opponents of the Raiders?  Perhaps.  If so, they could be surpassed as locker room material in the locker room of the PRaiders.

Can the PRaiders do all that I've suggested, predicted, fantasized?  Who knows.  Did many think they could do what they have done? 

The dynasty can continue.  In part, it will require following the guidance of Theodore Roosevelt, spoken in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, in 1905:

"Walk softly and carry a big stick.''

Not being part of the PRaider organization, I have the luxury of speaking loudly and brashly while carrying a very little stick.

At some point, Larry Kehres may look at retirement as reward for providing those who care about excellence the greatest run in athletic history, in any sport, at any level.  If things go as they may, and of course they will, then Mr. Kehres may relax and watch the quest for the next dynasty – possibly with a former PRaider steering the course.

Oh my, enough prime numbers and such, I'm off for some prime beef.

Bambord:  All this discussion of prime numbers is hurting my head.

Broncos played the hook and ladder and statue of liberty to perfection.  It was one of the greatest bowl games I've ever seen.  Is football a great game or is football a great game?  :o

I expect abuse for my grad school (Michigan) on the OAC board, but why ya bringin' my undergrad alma mater into this?!  >:( (For whatever reason, IWU is often known as the Green Weenies on the CCIW boards - jealousy, no doubt ;).)
