Everytime I get involved in a topic I get excited about football all over again, yes I get excited a lot. Today I started planning the St. John's trip. I will be there for the love of my son, Marietta College, and football. I'm tough I can take it, what is the preseason point spread?

Your coming to MN in 6 weeks? How about a beer?

And kcreds I am also planning to be at the game too. So we have some time to plan LOL.

As my story goes I live 800 miles from the #1 team in the country so I will settle for #2 except in '03 where the roles got reversed.

raiderguy, I know this will be a shock but I am a football fan that cannot drink beer but in our planning stages can we put a supply of Crown Royal on the table. How is the tailgating there? Do you have a preseason point spread on the game? Where should I stay? Keep in mind my wife wants to go to the Mall of America. I have never been to that part of the country and will probably drive because I enjoy it. Any suggestions? Now you know I am serious about the planning part.

Jr. says the weight room has some interesting transfers in it. I mentioned in previous posts that some highly touted players from this neck of the woods have transfered to Marietta. Just as a refresher, a scholarship SE from WVU, a QB, RB, & LB from a past WV AAA state championship team, and 5 players from the high school in WV with the state's longest regular season winning streak. All but a few played for their respective college teams last year. A winning attitude is great for team chemistry and hopefully these players can make the grades in all aspects. Again, I am not saying watch out Raiders or anyone else for that matter but my hope is Marietta will be competitive. Did I just lower anyone's opinion on the Marietta vs. St. John's point spread?

I guess once everyone runs out of leads to play LK on the silver screen, we don't have much to talk about.

How about this one: Heidelberg is tied for the league lead in mens basketball. The Student Princes are actually good at something.

Tuesday is the day we gather together to honor those Waskely Waders on yet another National Championship season. I understand that prior to the showing of the main attraction...namely the season highlight film......there will be a comming attractions promo announcing the film "The Mount Union Story." It is only then that we will know who is starring in this epic. Anybody care to guess the final cast and their roles? Im in charge of financing the project, so if anybody wants a producers credit send your checks to my address

ESPN has projected the the top ten players to go in the NFL draft. Ginn was number 9. Smith did not make the top ten.

Wow, and I was excited about going because it's one of the few Mount Union events with no fund rasing attached. Just kidding, and I truely hope to see a lot of "board" people there on Tuesday night. I will once again be using my son as an excuse to get another Stagg Bowl program autographed (This will be number 6) BE THERE
