How elderly is everyone on here?  I know we have some people with life experience, but never really thought of anyone on here as elderly.  Not even 70sraider  ;)

they are approaching their 60's.

Although that remark was about JK's mom, it also covers myself, Runyr and Rscl70. Oh yeah, and that LK guy as well. 8)

Hey guys:

Just thought you might be interested to know that I was told from an very reliable MIAA source that Alma's Brehm (Giagliardi Trophy winner) and Adrian's Wallace signed as free agents with the Detroit Lions and are currently in the mini-camp.  It will be interesting to see how far they go.  Brehm will be going up against Michigan State's Stanton as you know.

Graduation Day was Sunday at MUC.The college grounds were immaculate, the sky blue and the setting in front of Chapman Hall was perfect. Some great players graduated Sunday.LK maintained his phenominal graduation percentage. We grads like to brag that his grad percentage is higher than his winning percentage, and that's saying something.Congrats to the seniors  who went out Champions.

I am in that Seventiesraider generation as well. As I have reminded LK on occasion it was my keeping his cleats clean when he played that made him the success he is today. LOL

Seiously Purple, that is the amazing part of the LK/MUC legacy. I continually have the detractors "assume" Larry just takes the OSU "dummies" and turns them into MUC success with no regard to education. Nothing is further from the truth as we all know. I am very proud to be one of  those statistics of graduation from "Dear Old MUC."
WELCOME TO THE MACHINE!

elee,

I am 31.  I'll be 32 in a couple of weeks.

While that isn't particularly "old," it is hard to believe that it's been almost 10 years since I graduated from Capital and 15 from H.S.  Time sure flies...

e_lee

I am 27, 28 in August.  Hard for me to believe I am 5 years out of Capital.

I'm more than old enough to watch my youngest son pick up his bachelor's degree on May 20th.  I'll also be watching a new Browns QB pick up his as well.  8)

OT Rick Drushal was cut yesterday by the Browns.  Hopefully he will have an opportunity somewhere else.

Well that didn't last long.  I hope he gets an opportunity somewhere else be it NFL, CFL or the Arena League.

Found this:

Unfortunatly, the Argos also have Damon Allen (Marcus Allen's Brother and future CFL Hall of Famer), Eric Crouch (former Heisman winner from Nebraska) Michael Bishop (played at Kansas State and some in the NFL and AFL) and Mike McMahon (played for the Lions and the Eagles I think) on the roster at QB.

Nice to see Tom is still hanging around. Whatever happened to Dan Pugh?

I did a quick google on Dan Pugh only to learn that "Dan Pugh" is ESPN personality Dan Patrick's real name.  Not helpful to the search for MUC's own but still interesting all the same to me.

Still little to no info on the OAC alums in mini-camps.  I'm wondering if Rocky was even at the Browns' mini-camp.  I hope he got up there but no mention all week makes me wonder.

I did find out that Jason Trusnik's deal with the Jets is for three years as reported by his agency's website.
