Did London get married?

Jamal is in camp again with the Falcons but I think it's a long shot for him to stick around this year.  I haven't found anything on his success at camp so far for Atlanta.

And even though he's not a D-III'er, I do know we have some GCL guys that read this page and I'd like to point out that my alma mater has a pro in San Diego Charger DT Brandon McKinney.  He's the 3rd string DT and saw limited action last season but figures to be a bigger part of the rotation in 2007.

Good luck to Trusnik.  Now that he's done chasing Mount QB's, I can root for him ;D
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.

Nothing too surprising...Mount's everyone's #1

#2-5 were very close in the coaches poll and Kehres gave the nod to Capital.

Only consensus between media and coaches was Mount.  Muskies made the biggest change media vs coaches. No unanimous #10 for the coaches either.

Maybe BGSU's Anthony Turner?  He's a RS Sr. QB that started all 10 games he played in last year.  If he builds on last year he has a shot at the NFL, possibly as a pro WR and not as a QB.  I honestly thought that Akron Zip OL Timmy Crouch would get a shot this pre-season but he's yet to catch on anywhere after having started over 40 games in his collegiate career on Zips O-Line.  It's hard for me to imagine he did so well in college when I remember him as a goofy, slow-footed freshman lineman my senior year.

Glad to see that humor is not dead at the Ada Herald

Mount Union (surprise) picked as OAC preseason football favorite

PS AJ - Late October night games might not be all that popular. However 6-8 hours of tailgating might take the chill off.

They have home and home games with at least Capital, Marietta, and Otterbein scheduled.

ONUBearbacker

Just found out from my son that the Polar Bears will be sporting new black uni's this year... black with orange trim. Let's hope they play as good as they look!  ;)

Anyone know about the ONU freshman class? I'm curious to see what to expect coming in. I heard they are focusing more on quality, rather than quantity, so numbers will be down. That be actually be a good thing.

Of course, nothing is certain until camp begins and those first tuition checks are deposited but...

ONU's new football players should include no less than:
79 freshmen
2 transfers (OL and RB)
15 out of staters (6 coming from Florida)
22 All-State players total
OHSAA DVI Defensive Player of the Year
OHSAA DIV First Team QB
OHSAA DIV First Team DB
OHSAA DI First Team WR
OHSAA DV First Team K
OHSAA DIII First Team LB
2 2nd Team All-Ohio players with a combined 670 career tackles between them
WR with 28 career TD's and also owns OHSAA career record for points as a kicker (3X All-Ohio honoree and 4x100 state champ)
RB with 3400 career rushing yards and 10 INT's as a DB

Do we have some good looking incoming freshmen or what bearbacker?  I can't wait for Millikin to come to town!!!

MUC57

All Mount Union Fans:

As most of you know by now, OAC Media Day was yesterday. Once again, MUC (or MTU to some of you) was chosen to win the OAC.

As is usual, the Mount Union SID has posted the media guide on the Mount web site (www.muc.edu).

This is, by far, the most outstanding media guide in the country. This document contains a veritable plethora of information that should be of interest to all Purple Raider fans.

Besides the usual biographies and season previews, you can see season by season scores (from the first year in 1893), pictures of the All-Americans and All-Conference players, listings of our All Academic players, coaches records and much more.

If you've never seen it or paid much attention to your program past game day (the media guide + game day info + ads, etc), take a look. The SID at Mount Union should take great pride in his publication. It's simply the BEST!
I'm old! I get mixed up and I forget things! Go Everybody! 🏈 ☠
