Purple, do you think LK had any JCU advice for Hallett?

Congrats to the HC seniors for hanging in there.  I can't imagine how sweet the first win has to be for them.

Congrats to the BW defense for shutting down Auggie again.

I was surprised to see Otterbein lose their opener.  Their QB ok?  Saw another name with a lot of action.

OACFB

Congrats to the Berg for the victory!

Time to get into OAC play!!!

I just got home from the Browns game.  All I have to say is thank God for Mount Union!

This will be Romeo's last year if he makes it through the season.

Indeed. Perhaps we should let them borrow the BW Defense? Actually most of the OAC could replace them at this rate.

Results for Week 2 and games for Week 3 are posted.  Congrats to OACFB for winning Week 2!
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

D3poster....I don't know but I'll bet Mike calls his old coach whenever he wants to.LK is akin to the Oracle at Delphi to his former players, except LK is much more accurate than the Oracle ever was.

Sounds like the Browns are in some trouble this year...again... Looks like the best football teams in Cleveland are JCU, BW, Case, then the Browns...

Re: Otterbein QB situation.  Paul Stelzer is Otterbein's returning senior QB.  But Jack Rafferty saw a good bit of playing time at QB Saturday evening against Defiance.  Jack was "runner up" Mr. Football in Ohio 3 years ago.  His senior year at Dublin Coffman was the year following Brady Quinn's senior year at Coffman.  The QB coach at Coffman has made statements in recent years to suggest that Rafferty was a BETTER quarterback than Quinn, but at 5'11", Rafferty just didn't get many looks from D-I programs.  He red-shirted his first year at Western Kentucky (shoulder injury suffered in his final HS playoff game at Coffman), and "held the clipboard" during his red-shirt freshman year.  As a red-shirt sophomore he moved to tailback thinking he might get more playing time.  He then decided to get out of football and left Western Kentucky and went to U of Kentucky for a year.  He missed football and started looking at central Ohio D-III options to get back into the game.  He picked Otterbein as the place to re-new his football career.  Rafferty is VERY talented.  He sees the field very well, he's a good runner, and he's tough.  He will make a difference at Otterbein.

Rafferty took 4 years to get to Otterbein?  Looks like we have the new Rocky. ;D
