Results for Week 7 and Spreads for Week 8 have been posted.

Congrats to Capital on the big win.  See you in a few weeks for the OAC title.
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.

Hmmm, why do you think the Witt WR dropped the easy TD pass at the end?

Makes alot more sense now,  ;D

It's BW Week! BW is still our chief conference rival and it's always a big game for the players and coaches.BW fans can gather in the north parking area under the giant ceramic hot dog,set up just for this game. There is also a new hot dog shop near the campus which is sure to attract BW fans before and after the game.Inside the stadium hot dogs will be on the grill and in honor of the jackets school colors, only French's yellow mustard will be served.

Kmic is a bull! He took a very hard hit, bounced off and got the first down. Did anyone else see that play? Amazing!

RUN NATE RUN!!

I had a great view of the hit. "Can you say "highlight reel"? Give the defender credit...he stopped Nate dead in his tracks....momentarily. Then Nate just had to gain one more yard for good measure. LK took him out because he couldnt believe Nate wasnt punch drunk. That hit should make national new coverage...but it wont. Maybe we will see it again on the Stagg Bowl pregame. ;)

As for ONU, dont they work on the long snap in practice? Two weeks in a row now that has cost them some points.

Heidelberg almost won another close one this week. KEEP CLAWING you Bergers! Its a sign that MR. MOJO is on your side. He aint bettin on ya yet....but hes pullin for ya! ;)

Of the teams Mt. has played at home this season, I thought WC gave the best account of themselves.  Their offense moved the ball somewhat against Mt. D.   Their defense had some good plays as well.  They just did not have the horses to stay with Mt.   I thought Micali was off in his passing the first Q but adjusted as the game wore on.  Kmic hit was impressive.  A good runner will punish his tacklers as Kmic always does.  Let's put on the black unis as BW will bring their A game as they always seem to do against the Raiders.  A packed house next Sat.  Garcon still hurt?  speculation in the stands was wondering if he is on some sort of double secret probation?????

Whoa, hey -- this isn't something we should even joke about, ok? Point shaving is a serious matter and the spreads make me nervous enough about staying out of the NCAA's doghouse.

I know it is an ongoing issue but 8 penalties for 130 yards! Average penalty over 16 yards per. I know it was Wilmington but ......What are they for?

47 total for 505? YTD. Any concerns? It seems to be a theme visited every year but at some point is this going to jump up and bite us?
WELCOME TO THE MACHINE!

Point taken. Some light humor i know, but with the NBA snafu and the blackeye it has it has gotten, even joking can raise an eyebrow.

With a Offense slamming 60 ppg on the board and a defense allowing just over a field goal a game in points (4 ppg), i can imagine a team experiencing an influx on penalties higher than the norm. Most players are going all out, and a hold here an illegal block there are going to happen. However, the way LK is about penalties >:( and benching bad play, i don't think Larry will let it get to a point where it will necessarily bite us. I know none of the players wanna be sitting sidelined when there are 2 or 3 backups ready to fill the spot.  ..........60 points a game offense!!....only giving up less than a TD on defense!!! ...SICK!!!(to opponents) .....WOW this is looking like the best Raider team yet.

I am glad that I am not the only one who thought Wilmington did a very nice job in some facets of yesterday's contest.
I got to give them credit for a fine effort...First, I thought the soph  QB did a very good job coming into Mount stadium and he made several good plays.  He hung in tough against the rush and had several good passes dropped. Wilmington impressed me with the fact that they fearlessly  ran at Mount with some success ...#34 made some good moves...he's a frosh

The Quaker D continued to pop people through the end of the contest..

The Mount Union punter continues to impress...two great hanging punts that dropped inside the 6 yd line ..
I thought that BW punter was the best I had seen in years in the OAC, but Carpenter is looking as good...

Shorts dropped two perfect passes that would have gone for big yards....looked like he wanted to run before he caught the 'skin.....you drop passes at MUC and your "on the field" life ends quickly...

I don't know how Kmic or the guy that hit him got up after the "hit"...both showed serious stones...

Bryson Davis....MUC has obviously found another fast outside receiving  threat, as if they need another..

BW D will be tough, as usual...am looking for a good game

D3 Poster

Eliminate the turnovers and win some games....

Against the Muskies...no turnovers, win.

Against JCU....no turnovers in the first half, 9-7 lead.  Five turnovers in the second half, final score 27-9.

Some Mount posters may not believe this, but the Marietta defense played pretty well.  Witness the turnovers at the 15 & 11 yard lines only resulting in field goals for the Streaks.

The real killers of the Pios attempt for their first win ever over London's alma mater were the consecutive drives in the 3rd & 4th quarter with the score just 10-9 that ended with a JC interception at the 14 yd line and a failed fourth and one rushing attempt inside JC's territory.

I'd heard this earlier, but thought I'd ask:
Is Heidelberg's offense the only one which has scored against Mount Union's first-team defense? I know other teams have gotten a score here and there against MUC, but is The 'Berg the only one to do it against the first team?

That's a fact.  Amazing, isn't it?

Mount used a no huddle offense... Don't believe they have used that this year.

I think the 'Berg did score on a field goal.

And frankly, I do not believe that the B-W game is going to be close. Obviously I have only watched Mount but based on that no one else in the conference has the horses to match up with us.

You cant blame the QB for passes that bounce of the intended receivers hands. Thats on the receivers. The cold hands may have been the real problem.

As for BW....does anybody think that they might have studied game film of MUC instead of da BERG? We will see next week

My prediction for the MUC/BW game....starters play into 3rd quarter. Backups score 17 points. BW held to 3.
