Alright, BW fans...last year when I posted that the BW bench used bush league tactics during games (making noise by yelling "oohhhhhhhh"), Wizardman said, "That's called home field advantage." (See p. 469) If that's home field advantage...what is it when they do the same thing on the road?

I mean this: To any BW players reading this...high school girls softball teams think that you guys are bush league. Shut up and play. What are you doing trying to make noise to distract your opponent's offense? Let your fans take care of that...or better yet, don't get doubled up by Heidelberg so you still have fans.

D3football.com is essentially a website dealing with the current events of Division 3. Mount Union football produces newsworthy results and performances weekly. To deny them cover because they will get a lot of coverage during the playoffs is quite lame. What if they don't make it into the playoffs? Will D3 go back through the regular to revise and extend reportage that Mount deserves now?

What if they go out in the first round of the playoffs? Will any coverage extended then offset the lack of coverage in the regular season? Coverage during the regular season should not be predicated on a team's prospects for the playoff season.

Everyone knows they will make it into the playoffs. Everyone knows all about Mount Union. Not everyone knows about the other schools around D3 fighting hard to get into the playoffs (Like St. Norbert, who was on the cover earlier).

If Pat did as you suggest, we might as well call it MountUnionFootball.com because they would be on the cover every week. 99% of D3 schools, fans, and players do not want to see that.

238 teams in D3, I don't mind hearing about as many as possible during the regular season. Reporting that Mount Union won a game is similar to reporting the Sun came up.
