The spreads for Round 1 of the Playoff Pick-Em's has been posted.
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.

So how has our old friend from the E8 Garcon been this year?  I should think he would relish in playing in a bracket where 3 teams are from his old conference...

WOW! talk about some scrabble eggs for sunday breakfast!!! HOLY MOLY, are these brackets scrabbled or what?? GOTTA LOVED IT THOUGH, time for Mount to feast on some East. Heck, looks like the whole state of NY is looking for a shot at Mount! YOu mean they didn't get enough from our Indians?? HEHEHEHE

HEY JK and the Cap gang, great to see they got the chance, granted not an easy one, but hopefully they can get a little regrouped and the adrenaline flowing going after last years Div 3 runner-up! Any of you got some updates on who will be back for the Crusaders line up here by next week?

Remember that a lot of Ithaca grads are from Boston....... ;)

Talking about the funniest plays you ve seen in football.......anyone remember MUC/Heidelberg in the mid 90s?  Heidelbergs punter blasting his shot into the snappers keister and punting for a loss of yardage. Now that was funny! :D I cant remember if MUC recovered for a score, or if they scored on the next play. But you know for sure that they cashed in on it.

raiderpa

I, for one, am glad that we may see some new faces in Alliance if the Raiders continue their roll.   Ithaca, TCNJ/Renssalear, are going to be more fun than seeing Wheaton again, or Cap, or Witt, or others that seem to be visiting regularly....If the Raiders and St. John Fisher make it to the quarters, it may make the next two years' openers even more interesting

Ithaca brings a great tradition, but that is about all I know about practically the entire East Bracket.......when do the playoff capsules coming out???   As if we aren't asking enough from the D3 staff....  Thanks guys

OK, fine I will be the sacrificial lamb for the East: The OAC is overrated...MUC is undeniably great and the rest of the conference just happens to be in MUC's conference. I understand that MUC beats EVERYONE, but Capital and Ohio Northern, who were highly ranked teams this year (and Cap. most years) didnt even breath against MUC this year.

I was just having a conversation with a former teammate of mine last week: that if MUC had to mentally and physically prepare for the likes of Hobart, RPI, SJF, IC, Cortland, etc every week (just look at Brockport's schedule every year in the East), they would get 'dinged up' here and there and it would wear on them. Instead of preparing for a game every week, MUC's third string QB and RB are probably debating eachother about who is going to score more second-half TD's...lol.

MUC would likely still win just about every game for a while, but the wear and tear each week would eventually catch-up to them. They would also have a bigger competition for the H.S. talent in the East. This of course is all hypothetical because, MUC isnt packing up and moving to the East any time soon....yet the EAST can put their money where my 'MOUSE' is starting next Saterday!!!

I told ya last year not to underestimate SJF in the Final Four...and SJF only trailed by 5 with 7 minutes to go. Now I see a few posters are already 'laughing' at MUC's East Region competition. Well, for the next 4 weeks, MUC will not be playing the same old 'one and dones' they play every year at this time! They will have to get through a hot IC team, and possibly RPI and SJF.

If and/or when MUC steamrolls the East, I will take the heat for this....that is ok, I look forward to the East's opportunity to bring some heat of their own!

GO ITHACA!!!"

I hope the games are great...The Ithaca QB looks like a great athlete...6'2 200...two state championships and MVP of state championship game....plus, Bombers appear to be in a groove, however, from my perusal of their schedule and results, they give up a lot of points....  With the defense the Raiders have shown it will hard for anyone to outscore MUC...
Mount opponent defenses will be under big pressure not to give up points....

I think that you are going to have to score 21-28 minimum to have a chance to beat Mount, and the Mount D has been amazingly strong...

funny, I was thinking the same thing!
BRING BACK PENTELLO!!  ;)
Yeah OAC, weak.....LMAO, maybe an off year abit from the past few but judging by the accumulated total playoff record of 40-9 vs. 7-5, not much more needs to be said.

FisherAlum05

I don't think SJFF82 was referring to the past results of the OAC.  We all know how successful they have been, especially in the playoffs.  I think SJFF82 is referring to the OAC this season.  Other than Mount Union, the teams were a bit weaker than in the past.  I have alot of respect for the OAC.  And, I would hope that you guys would have some respect for the E8, since Fisher did give Mount Union a great game last year in the semi-finals.  Fisher was the 2nd best team in the country last year, in my opinion.

Just left the E8 board.   And I thought the Wabash fans were number one with their rants.  Oh boy this is shaping up to be some kind of week.    GO RAIDERS!

Ha we in the E8 board like going on rants, it's just what we do.   I had no problems with the Mount Union fans last year, it was fun seeing you guys on our boards...We spit out hot fire and you guys come back with respectful comments and it makes alot of our posters heads explode because we borderline don't know how to handle that.
