Go post this on the NCAC board.  They have more brain cells to spare.
Always something to say about the NCAC.

Hey, that was a compliment!

How are brackets seeded?  Are they seeded by the "overall" bracket, or seeded by who the #1 seed is in the bracket, since that is who is "supposed" to come out of the region?

Under the General Football header on the post patterns main page, there is a link to Pick Em's.  You can just click that, then click the OAC topic and scroll to the most recent posts.

Pat

Are you running a D3football.com playoff pick 'em this year?  I don't see anything on the main page and was just curious.
RC,
It's on the front page under Playoff Tool Box (black background).  I tried to register, but all my personal email addresses are only with Pat's problem list.  ???  I haven't received an email yet.  I might be out-of-luck.

I had missed it too--I rarely scroll to the bottom of the page because typically I have already read those stories when they were first posted.
Reloading--Again, and again, and again....

Looking at NCAA stats through the regular season... Ithaca ranks 4th in the nation in Punt Return Defense allowing just 2.67 per return while Mount ranks 4th in the nation in Punt Return Average at 14.74 per opportunity.  Something will give here and I'll be excited to see Wray on the move this Saturday.  I'll predict that Mount will have more punt return yardage on Saturday then Ithaca has given up for the entire season (24 yards).

So really, Ithaca could give up just three yards per punt, barely over their average, and Mount will still be able to top that total.   ;)

That should be interesting.  But I have a feeling that a lot of fair catches will be involved.........

Presto

i think its exciting that the 2 oac teams are in opposite brackets and could meet in the stagg.  i know cap is way down injury wise on offense but if they get by uww saturday at that point anything would be possible.  as for mount good luck east this is a train wreck coming thru your town.  won't be pretty.

Regions are seeded by comparing the #1 seeded teams.  Not the overall strength of the regions.

1 = MUC
2 = WWW
3 = W&J
4 = Central

Cap won't make it to Salem.

A backhanded compliment.

hey, a back-handed compliment is still a step up for us OAC'ers who just grunt, burp, and shove opposing offensive lines three yards into their own backfield.

Presto: curious?  do you mean a "train wreck" for the East teams or for MUC?  I assume you mean for the Ithacas and Fishers of the world, but your post is not clear?

What I (OU#25) was saying was that I predict that Mount will have more that 24 punt return yards this Saturday...whether based upon 1 return or 10.

So if you add what Mount gets, what Ithaca gives and average it out, yeah, Mount will do that in three punts.  Definitely a nice matchup to watch.
