Who would win?

  VS.

I think all it takes to stop those three is a plastic "S" thing to throw at them and some sort of odd prism to trap them.  I think Mount could come up with both of those, no?

Would defeat both at the same time.

Well I always read this board espically around this time of year but I never post because I get a kick out of others outside the OAC thinking they are better and they will be the ones to knock Mount off.   :D Lets face it Mount is the only team that can knock Mount off.  They have the BEST team to possibally ever come out of that school.  As a former player thats hard to admit being I played on 5 great teams but this team is dominating everyone in all the stat sheets.  Mount can beat who ever, when ever, by as many as they wish week in and week out. (DIII)  If they wanted to beat every team by 50 LK would call the game that way.  Mount has been so great on the ground throughout the years that a 21pt lead is almost like being ahead 50-0.  Since their D has given up a grand total of 49pts all year a game within 21 (which I dont think is close some do) if Mount scores 4 times its over.  Since teams have had trouble from keeping Mount out of the endzone 7 times a game it looks like Mount wins the Stagg by 20 or more.  The talk about Fisher Rbs running for a 100 or more is almost comical.  The Mount D has developed a "swagger" like the U of old.  When a team scores they take it as an insult and I know allowing a TEAM to run for a 100 would cause them to lose sleep.  So to all you Fisher fans good job making it this far see you in the opener next year.  Mount is and will be the most  DOMINANT program that we ever see and will stay that way untill they decide otherwise.

yeah but chuck norris would only let mcu score because chuck wanted to...chuck could beat them 100-0 if chuck desires....

You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.

Surprised that SJF only has four players from outside of the state of NY.  (One is a freshman from Westlake, OH.)

Seems unusual for a Catholic university to have so few out-of-staters.  JCU has 30+ out-of-state kids.  Catholic has even more than JCU.  Even MSJ has 20+.  SJU has about 25 as well.

Does anyone from SJF want to share their thoughts on this matter?

RC-

Another reason is that both Rochester and Buffalo both have a sizeable Roman Catholic population.  I'm not sure about Syracuse, but both of those cities tend to help feed into SJF.  I'm not sure exactly where the players come from since I haven't looked at the roster, but that could be a part of the reason.

I just went and did a quick look at the roster.  Many of the schools and towns listed there are in fact from Rochester and Buffalo areas.  I would be surprised if a decent percentage of their players have some times with the Roman Catholic Church...devout or not.  Also a number of students from the Syracuse region which I would also be surprised to find out was not significantly Roman Catholic.  SJF is also the larger of the RC schools in the region, and Nazareth College does not field a football team.

Would LK kneel before Zod?

Not if he could get by with a W and not have to use it :)

If Mount wins this "Saterday" vs. SJF that will be the purple's 300th victory since 1980.  Overall Mount currently stands at 299-37-3  during this time period.

Wow, I can't believe Mount has beaten Mount only 37 times since 1980.

Who of the SJF posters are coming down to Alliance Saturday?  I'd love to chat with some of you before the game.  Let me know on here or drop me an email or PM.

I'm going to call the NCAA right away and MUC is going to have to forfit those NC's...

That's too funny.  I thought the same thing.

Agreeing with 57?  Ugh, I almost feel soiled now.   ;D
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.
