ya, plus it's going to be cold. Passing on the game for some Golden Girl re-runs on lifetime & some hot tea is probably the better bet at this point.

You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.

Fantastic - I'll look forward to seeing massive amounts all three of the purple suits at Growney next year then.

a nice Nic Tahoe's garbage plate for those of you not from ro cha cha land...

Consisting of mac salad, fries, hambugers or hotdogs, mystery meat sauce and red-hot sauce

Man I miss those plates!  Trust me, my fellow Raiders, the plate alone is worth the trip!  There are few better ways to start your morning (or continue your late night!) than a nice plate.  I take mine with two Texas Red Hots and extra hot-sauce.

So Stepnick our All American defensive player has been ruled out for the game Saturday....We are not as deep as Mount Union, his replacement is servicable but this changes our defense completely whether coach Vos wants to admit it or not.

So the regional final game is a "not so big" game?  So they show up for what 1 game a year then? 2?  Yeah that doesn't scream bandwagon fan

Out?  I'll believe it when I see him in street clothes at kick-off.

I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.

Well they released an article on the Cardinal newspaper and it said he has been ruled out

Hmm upon further review maybe he was referencing last week's game as the not so big one.  Still playoffs are playoffs, every game is big.

I too will believe it when I see it.  Maybe injury reports are a little different in New York than they are here, but I've seen a JCU receiver (Joe Konrad a couple years back) be listed as out, not practice all week, and when I asked the head coach, he said the kid wasn't going to play, then the first play from scrimmage he's lined up at receiver.

When Jason Trusnik from ONU went down with an injury a couple years ago, the JCU coaching staff prepared as though he was going to be in.  Coach Scafe even said, "I'll believe that he's not playing when I see him on crutches when we kick off."  He ended up not playing, and JCU won the game 50-25 I believe...scoring 26 unanswered points.  Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong RC.   ;)

When a Stagg Bowl is the expectation, and more often than not they reach it, I would imagine first and second round games are not as big.  The first two rounds also had the misfortune of being scheduled up against the OSU/UM game two weeks ago, and Thanksgiving break last week.  Also, anyone who gave TCNJ more than a very slim chance probably hadn't seen Mount Union yet this year.

Again, I think (hope) this week's game should be a good one.  I think that if Mount can turn Fisher into a one dimensional team (a la Ithaca two weeks ago), they will get a 30 point (give or take 6) win.  If Fisher can keep the heat on, pressure Micheli, slow down Kmic, score early, and stick with their ground game, we'll have ourselves a ball game.
