I hope that someone got the "drum incident" as it's now being called on video and that it appears on youtube asap.  I've read conflicting posts that Jackson is a senior and that this was his last game and others said that he is a senior with one year of eligibility left.  Anybody know the real story here?

The real story?  He's busch league.

While that is true, I was only wondering if Mount was going to have another crack at him or not.
They should have practiced harder.

I'm beat after the day trip to Alliance, and not going to read posts tonight.

My hat is off to the MUC boys - it was a good ass whuppin' they put on Fisher today. I'll deservedly eat crow.

RE: Jackson

Let it go, he's done this year anyway - Personally, I think it was funny... stupid, but funny.

Im not even going to go back and look at the posts made during the game, it will make me cringe.

If you want to see my summary look on the E8 boards.   I will give you guys the short and sweet of it.  You guys were flat out better.  This is why I refrained from talking smack of how Fisher was going to dominate, I prayed it would be a close hard fought Fisher victory.....Clearly this wasn't the case.

Sorry about Jackson.  Whoops on Fisher's part!

Talk to you OAC posters later, I am going to disappear from the OAC boards for a while (probably a positive to a lot of you I know) not out of embarassment because I like most of you and  I can take the heat....But for the sheer laziness that I hate going from board to board, too much work!  Feel free to stop by the E8 board anytime, I extended that invite to Kirasdad last year and I am broadening it out to all of you this year.  The more posters the better, besides we are trying to beat the Liberty League for most pages posted.

Love you OAC,

Booby

Don't care if he's back or not.  He wasn't a difference maker.

Here's a question for next year.  Kramer is graduating and the back-up QB has thrown a total of 9 passes all season.  So why late in the 4th quarter is Kramer still in the game when you know you're starting next season on this same field with a brand new QB?  Would have seemed a perfect chance to get next year's QB a little action against MUC.

Now to the game.  I was very surprised to see how easily Mount ran the ball on Fisher again.  I expected SJF to really focus on the rush D after Kmic gashed them for 371 yds last season.    But over 400 yards rushing?  Yikes.  If Fisher hopes to compete with MUC next season, they better learn how to tackle Nate Kmic.
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Great points.

RE: Quarterback

There was no reason, and I mean NO reason they leave starters in when MUC had pulled everyone... Fisher was on the board so they didn't have a shutout thrown at them... there was no reason for it. Give some kids some time on a big day, and more importantly, vs. MUC.

My feeling is they left starters in that late for the same reason Fisher kept trying to run the ball down 31-0 with the passing game being effective --- They have no clue.

RE: Fisher Defense

Faggiano should have lectured himself instead of yelling at Jackson for the last 5 minutes of the game. Forget Kmic, Micheli must have run for 100 yards... they never once put a spy on him. How many times did they need him to run 15 yards on 3rd down to learn that?

That'll be all for now, I'm winded :)

Garcon can prance around and do dances in the endzone and nothing is said yet Jackson pulls a Chad Johnson and you think its bush league....

MUC can do no wrong obviously.

Much has been said on this site about Garcon and his antics.  Take your sour grapes and go home.
12-0 = 13

Hmmm, lets compare:

Garcon:  chest bumping after scoring when leading big

VS.

Jackson:  taking the band's drum after scoring versus the 2nd string D when you're losing big

Yup.  Those are equal.

I agree with rscl70.  Take your sour grapes back to NY and go make some whine.

The takeaway here is:

It's OK to be an idiot, as long as you're winning.

At least Garcon's smart enough to check the score board first ;D

For us Raider/Buckeye folks, today has been a great day of football.

MUC rolls into the semi's and looks poised to make the Stagg again.

Pitt just beat WVU to put OSU into the D1 title game, and Oklahoma is beating Missouri (35-17) in the 4th as well.  Looking like D1 will be OSU vs. either Georgia or Kansas or LSU or ?.

Yippie!

Tags, I would say that garcon is a tool no matter what, but he earned his celebration...Jackson was just being an idiot, you don't do a celebration like that down by that much

You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.

MUCALUM05

At least there was no Dr. Pepper involved.... Think those commercials have been aired enough through out the day of football on ABC/ESPN? haha

Pretty much...

Im not here to defend Jackson, because he's obviously an idiot, but dont pile on him when you have a tool on your sidelines that does things that also get flagged for excessive celebration...

RE: Sour Grapes

There are none, I knew going in there's about a %99 chance that MUC walks away with this one....

Ive taken my beatings on the field before and didnt cry/whine or get chippy when the better team was taking it to us....

Just letting it be known that you gotta see it both ways....

PurpleSuit

im just wondering what exactly it is that Pierre does in the endzone that offends the E8 posters so much?
