I think MHB will not only beat the spread, but beat WWW....  It may be a quick game, considering the running games that are featured....

If the Raiders prevail, I would like to see a different team in Salem....

Good luck the rest of the way guys - I'm pretty sure you won't need it.

Guys, here is something that was put up on the LLPP, Inc. board --- It's interesting stuff, figured you'd like to take a look. Make sure to click the Database link at the top of the page as he says.

Since we seek revenge from so few schools, can't we please have MHB in the Stagg Bowl. That stupid hail mary still haunts me. I want revenge for the two years they left a picture of that catch up on their website.

I'm sorry, was I looking past Bethel? Oh yeah. ::)

PS I don't think Larry would put salary near the top of the list of reasons he does what he does. And anyway, he's the Athletic Director as well, so put a little something extra in your check for Christmas coach. God knows he deserves it.
Same as it ever was...same as it ever was...same as it ever was...

Do any of the final teams have a great QB?  That might be the key.

There have been bigger suprises in the history of d3football than if MUC lost this year.  They are the clear favorites, but they arent invincible.

In all of the years of this riegn of dominance, quite possibly the greatest in the history of sports, this is arguably the best team Mount Union has ever fielded.  Nuff said...

I really would have liked to see how the 2006 SJF team matched up against this 2007 MUC team. This years Fisher team was not as good as 2006, and in my opinion (like many others I guess), this years MUC team was much better.

At any rate, they still made a very solid Fisher team look like a JV team --- It's hard to believe anyone will be able to beat this team from here on out, although anything is possible.

Just by looking at them though, they dont look that impressive.  Thats not to say they arent the best d3 team in the history of d3 teams.  But it is still a d3 football team.

I watch a lot of 1-AA football.  I live down the street from Northeastern University's field and Ive seen most of their home games over the past two years.  Northeastern and every team they play would beat MUC by 3-5 touchdowns easy.  They are all 5X the size of MUC, and the defenses are 10X faster.

That being said, I dont think Ithaca, SJF (this year) or TCNJ had the size or team speed to slow them down at all.  These other teams could be different.  Thats all Im sayin.

I am a huge Buckeyes fan, but the SEC is a much better conference than the Big 10. That being said, I am a realist.  But the top half of the OAC would advance in this tournament if they had a shot.  The one thing Mount Union's success has done is make its conference look bad to the rest of the country.  But I challenge anyone to name a better conference than the OAC.  They run through the best conference in the country year in year out.  Ohio Northern, Capital, John Carrol, Baldwin Wallace are programs that would challenge the best DIII has to offer.  So, to answer your question, yes they have played someone.

ps- ask St. Johns Fisher, TCNJ, and Ithaca (all pretty good programs).  Any team in the Semi's have played someone.

And a D1AA team should beat a D3 team everytime.  Yes, as far as I knew, this is a board on DIVISION 3 FOOTBALL.COM

I'm sure Michigan through the same thing before playing Appalachian State. I think Mount would be competitive against quite a few I-AA programs.

I see what you saying.  But sometimes it seems that in d3, the top 2-4 teams (one team from each region) are really heads and shoulders above the rest of the country.  So I wont be suprised (It has happened, look at 2000) if 3 of the final 4 games are closer scores than the 13 previous scores for MUC, UWW, Bethel and MHB.....

Thanks Captain Obvious.

I was just pointing out that MUC doenst have a 1-AA type team and doesnt look that much different than an Ithaca or SJF.  Maybe these other teams are just better (by being bigger and faster)
